Hubby Manning the Booth...

We spent Saturday up in Florence at a crop. It was really fun.

My husband got a new job the day before in Coos Bay and had to work from 2:45pm - 11:15pm....

He got up at 5am and drove me there and set up at 8am, stayed until 1 then went to work and then drove back up to pick me up.

Thanks Honey your the BEST!!

Needless to say we left everything in the trailer until the next day.

I remember when staying up all night wasn't a problem, but boy I was wiped out.

I'm still recovering today.

I'm definitely coming up with a better way to inventory everything the next day.

It took all day Sunday and it's not that fun.

Not like coloring or cutting out kits.

Or shopping!

March Monthly Kits....

It's time for the new Monthly Coloring Card Kits over at Heather's Hobbie Haven. This month I am featuring Some Odd Girl stamps from the Art Nouveau collection.

This beauty is called Believe.

She is colored with Copic Markers.

She looks so dramatic!

This gorgeous one is called Grow.

I have water colored her.

Water coloring gives her a soft relaxed feel.

But if you love Copic's head over to the Store Blog and you can see the alternate coloring I did with Copic Markers.

I used October Afternoon's Sidewalks paper on both.

Just in today!! New Glitz Design Pretty in Pink 12" x 12" paper & 6" x 6" paper pads.

Also brand New today Glitz Design Happy Travels 12" x 12" paper and 6" x 6" paper pads.

I also got the French Kiss & Vintage Blue 6" x 6" paper pads.

These are all really pretty papers.

Well I better go work on my water coloring class for Saturday.

Rose and Felix....

Check out my latest Whimsy Stamps project Rose & Felix. I love that cute little cat! I even used a new My Favorite Things Die-Namic this time Petal Perfect Trio. Thought I would try a new flower die. I ordered a bunch of Memory Box dies for the store. I can't wait for them to get here. They have a whole bunch of new Valentine's one. Since I'm a die collector I thought these would be a great new addition.

Here's a close up of the coloring with Copic markers.

Here I've colored it with ShinHan markers. I'm getting better I managed to stay in the lines. I forgot to add the stickles & Spica glitter pen before I took the picture so it's not as sparkly.

Fluffy on the Lily....

I colored this cute image twice so I could show the ShinHan marker colors. So thought I would make it into a card. That squirrel is so adorable. I moved the flower around and added some different ribbon along with a new CC Designs cutter die: Big Hearts. The kit can be found HERE if you'd like to have one. I also did an online class of the coloring if you want to follow along. It can be found over on the Heathers Hobbie Haven YouTube Channel.

Here are the ShinHan colors I used. Now that I've had a chance to color with them a couple of times I'm really liking them. But like anything they take some getting use to. What can I say I'm a color collector. I like all kinds of coloring tools and have to have them all.

ShinHan Markers.....

Have any of you tried the ShinHan Markers? This is my first time coloring with them. They are great! A wonderful alternative to Copic's if your just starting your collection or if you already have Copic's a great add on. The price isn't outlandish at $4.30 each. I need to learn my color combo's and how to stay in the lines better. But not to bad for a first try. Practice makes perfect!

The cute image is a new CC Designs image Brigitta Blowing Hearts I'm currently making into a kit for the store. I just need to cut out all the parts. I spent today loading s bunch of new TwinklingH2O's into the store. I can't wait to share some projects with those.

February Monthly Kits...

I managed to finally finish the February Water Coloring Monthly Kit. I redid it three times.. First I didn't like the pink paper i had picked, then I didn't like the doily, cause I used it last month... But now I Love it. I think the water coloring turned out perfect.

And then there's the February Copic Coloring Monthly Kit. I've been wanting to use this cute Tilda since I got it. Isn't she adorable? I love how she's sitting on the edge of the three circles. Oh and I gave her red hair... Sassy!! One of the new tones I was trying out.

I was playing around in Paint Shop Pro last night and made these cute coloring pages. I have this big pile of post it notes laying around with different hair colors I've seen and liked or wanted to try. So I thought I would start putting them down on paper. Make a little flip book I can look through. I really like how these two turned out. Completely different from what I usually use for hair color. But now that I've seen them I'm going to use them. Have you seen this cute new Penny Black stamp? It's called Holiday Hugs. This is one of my new Seasonal Kits available over at Heather's Hobbie Haven. This one is colored with Ranger Distress Inks, but I colored it in Copic's too.

The coloring makes them both look different. I love that about different color mediums. Maybe I should break out my Prisma pencils and give them a go. Well not today. I've got to go do my How To video for tomorrow post.

Today I thought I would make a card for a friend. It's always fun to get something in the mail besides bills. At least I think so. I was watching a video tutorial over at Color Me Copic. This one featured Blonde hair. (YR20, YR21, YR23 & E33) Since I'm a blonde I love that color and always want to find new color ideas. I also have been wanting to added to Heather's Favorite's over at Heather's Hobbie Haven. I need to work on that some more. I have lots of favorite color combo's I just need to get them down. This image has the perfect hair for show casing colors.

I'm also going to enter in the Saturated Canary Challenge. The challenge is "FALL Colors". I already entered a card, but since this one matches and I didn't even plan it that way. Why not. Maybe I'll be the lucky winner and can pick up another cute Krista Smith image! LOVE those..

Hey everyone. This image had been in my colored pile for a while, so today I thought I would check out the challenge over at Saturated Canary. This times challenge is "Autumn". That's pretty easy. I found all the paper in my growing scrap pile on the counter. That's another plus it's getting pretty big. The image is called Rainy Day and can be found over on Krista's Etsy Shop Saturated Canary Digi's. She added a whole bunch of new ones I had to get yesterday. My poor wallet! Oh well they are worth it..

Here's a close up so you can see the colors. I added some Atyou Spica Glitter pen to her hair and flowers on the boots and umbrella. Then some glossy accents to the rain drops and her lips.

Ragged Angel...

One for me. I colored up a couple of images while watching TV a few days ago. This cutie is by Mo Manning. Isn't she adorable(Ragged Angel)? I love her whole outfit, very old fashion looking. there's another one where the girl is holding a bird (Urchin with Bird). I think I'll color her next. The paper is from the scrap pile. Just dug around until I found some that went together. Even the flowers, heart and border came from there.

I used Paula's trick for adding glitter. I had to hunt all over her blog Paper Possibilities to find it. I finally found it in the November posts. I knew it was a while ago. I keep looking at that bottle of Glamour Dust thinking why did I buy that? Now I know. It's very glittery!!

A Rosie Rabbit Gift...

Check out this fabulously fun paper by My Minds Eye - 12 Days of Christmas. I wasn't crazy about it at first, but I love how festive it looks with Rosie. I think the Martha Stewart Present Border punch gives it a little extra something. I have all these punches I never use. Shame on me! Rosie started out brown and I just wasn't thrilled with her so started over and made her gray. Much better. The brown was cute, just not what I wanted.

Oh my I love this new Magnolias collection Sweet Christmas Dreams. This cute image is called Something For You. Isn't she adorable? There are three different Magnolia DooHickey dies too. Paris Nights, Spruce and Swirly Lace. They all look so pretty. I don't have these in the store yet, but I can be persuaded if three of you want one.

I have again used the Fancy Pants Saint Nick Collection for the paper. you can click on the picture for a closer view. Have you tried those new EK Success Slim Layering Punches? I just got in the Butterfly, Ornaments & Fall Leaf ones. I tried them out they are pretty awesome! I like how the Ornaments & Fall Leaf connect together. Remember this cute card? I colored it with just 5 distress inks so if you are a beginner it wouldn't overwhelm you. And to show you could start a new hobby with out breaking the bank..

Hey everyone I'm back with another new Magnolia from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection. This one is called Tilda Hiding Gift. You can find her down at Memories of Time along with all the cute others. I have used the new Fancy Pants Saint Nick Christmas Paper. Some Star Dust Stickles to decorate her apron, Liquid Applique for her hat and a Spica Clear glitter pen to add sparkle to her hair. The flowers, mistletoe and snowflake are a Magnolia DooHickey Dies I'm not sure if they are still at the store or not you'll have to look. I sprayed the flowers and snowflakes with Tattered Angels Glimmer Spray: Marshmallow.

This is my latest Water Coloring Card Kit over at Heather's Hobbie Haven. Look at this cute little guy and his puppy.. Isn't he adorable? I love the shading on his jeans!! I had some trouble with his hair, but kept adding color and it turned out pretty good after 4 colors added. The stamp is from Penny Black and is called Nose to Nose.

On another note the new Magnolia Sweet Christmas Dream collection has arrived at my local scrapbook store. I'm heading there tomorrow to pick some up for me and try and decide which one's I want to order for my store to make kits out of!! Oh the choices!!

Hey everyone.. How's your week going? I've been having some fun coloring this cute Saturated Canary image by Krista Smith. I wanted to enter her challenge over at the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog. It's the very first one.. It has a sketch and a Halloween theme that's optional.. Of course I choose the with Halloween theme. You should see the awesome inspiration pictures that are posted. I love Penny Black images. This one is called Hello Dear. I have a bunch of the old ones, with the cute kids. I still love to get those out and color them occasionally. The image is water colored with Ranger Distress Inks and the paper is My Minds Eye. I think it turned out really cute!

I'm so far be hide I don't think I'll ever catch up. I have a box full of stamps to color and make into kits and a bag full of unmounted rubber for me that I need to get mounted so I can play. My scrap room looks like a disaster area. With all the boxes of stuff for the store sitting around on the floor. I have to step over it all to get to anything. I ordered some slat board yesterday and a bunch of hooks. I'm hoping once that gets here I'll be able to clean up. Put hubby to work anyways. I have to be organized!! Things to do, so little time..

If I could get away with my hair being this color I would! Ok I'm totally in love with this Kate Krafty, A Ragamuffin by Saturated Canary. And this super cool video Amy over at Sweet November Stamps's did on two tone hair. Fabulous!! Amy has a bunch of super fun video's. I love turning them on while I'm making a card.

Here's the finished card. I used it as an example for the die's on it over at Heather's Hobbie Haven. Figured I better make some examples so everyone can see how awesome the dies are.

Amy is also having a blog candy over at her blog A Thousand Sheets of Paper. She has evidently cut into a 1000 sheets of paper this last year. Holly Cow!! That's a lot, I wonder how many I did! How about you?

I have water coloring class this coming Saturday and didn't have my project ready. I whipped it up yesterday using the lay out I used for one of my card kit. Just changed a couple of things. I've had this cute Tilda for a while and haven't inked her up, so thought she would be perfect. Plus my local scrapbook store Memories of Time still has them in stock. I've gotten in some new My Favorite Things Die-Namics over at Heather's Hobbie Haven. This one is called Prima Donna Petals. I'm going to try and use it in the November Water Coloring Card Kit. I already finished the November Copic Colrong Card Kit. Your going to love it!

Don't forget Thursday is the last day to order October Card Kit's of the Month. If you've been waiting it's getting close to the end of ordering time. Come Friday morning there will be a new set of kits and these two will be gone. They both also come in a 6 month subscription if you don't want to remember to order every month and you'll get them sooner. I had a guessing game the other day and thought I better give the answer before I forgot. The question was how much was USP shipping for my Magnolia order for Heather's Hobbie Haven. It included 25 stamps and 15 DooHickey Dies. They came in a 7 x 3 x 10 box weight about a pound. Are you ready... $169.78. I about had a heart attach. I never imagined it would cost so much. Good heavens I could fly to Sweden and it would be cheaper.. Oh well I'll know for next time.. It will defiantly effect me ordering those for my kits.

I had some time to color today. So of course I made a new Copic Coloring Card Kit for Heather's Hobbie Haven. Isn't that the cutest CC Designs image? Her name is Flower. I've included the Postage sentiment stamp in this kit. Along with 3 yards of hand dyed seam binding.

How about a guessing game:

Belles n' Whistles...

I've added some Belles n' Whistles stamps to Heather's Hobbie Haven. This one is called A Fairy Nice Flower. Isn't she adorable! I set two images a side I'm Thinking of using for November's Monthly Card Kits. I'll know for sure after I color them.

Also there are a couple of new CC Design stamps that I've added. Again I've pulled two, too make into kits for the Previous Kits section. I have them all stamped now to color them.

Hubby thought I should have an Odds & Ends section in the store, so I could have a place to put left over stuff or stuff I have laying around to sell. Maybe finished cards and stuff. It ends up I have a two of these Magnolia Bag Books left over from class and they have ended up in the Odds & Ends section.. They come with everything you need to make up the adorable bag albums. You'll need to color the images of course. You can get more information over at the store.

Trip to Eugene to have the car CD player fixed was not that great. We got there and the girl was like well mam we can't fix that. What do you mean you can't fix it? That's what we made the appointment for and drove 2 1/2 hours to get fixed. Well we can fix your recall... I don't care about the recall I need the CD player to work. Well mam we send all of that over to Brad's.. We'll why didn't you just say that when we made the appointment? So two hours after having the recall fixed and checking out.. Mam you seam to have a small leak in your oil pan, but it's no big deal.. REALLY OILS NOT IMPORTANT.. It is a small leak. That can get bigger right? Maybe since it's under warranty I should have that fixed too.. Don't you think? Well sure mam, let me see if we can do that today. Well we can but it won't be until 4. Never mind make me another appointment for next Thursday. Off to Brad's... $440 later they will be installing a new CD player next Thursday at 1. You know if you have steering wheel controls you need a SPECIAL adapter for that $150..
They hardly have CD player any more. You now can have an Ipod player.. The Ipod goes inside the deck.
Who knew.. Oh and Hubby got a speeding ticket on the way home.. He was a little pissed off since he was passing a huge truck that was going 45 the whole way until we got to the passing lane and then was going 75.
So we didn't do any shopping and our trip cost us $887... I feel so special..

Garden Tilda..

Check out the new water coloring card kit I added to Heather's Hobbie Haven. Isn't Garden Tilda doing a great job! I love the new My Favorite Thing Die-Namic: Dizzy Doily Duo. Say that three times fast.. I had this bag full of Prima Botanical paper I wanted to use up and thought this would be the perfect image. Then the girls in my class the other day commented that Tilda pants are never blue.. So today they are.

I'll be playing at Memories of Time today. I can't wait. It's always fun to see all the new stuff.. I'm ready for all the new paper that should be coming in soon.

Tomorrow I have to take my car to the dealer and get my CD player fixed (the CD's are jammed) and a recall thingy that I have know idea about. But the CD player jammed is not working for me. I never listen to the radio. I remember why now. They have a million and two commercials that last 10 minutes, then 1 or 2 songs and another 10 minutes of commercials. Thankfully my honey showed me how to use my Ipod in the car. But it doesn't last for long trips and I have to remember to bring it into the house to charge it. So off to the repair shop we go!!

Look what I just made to add to Heather's Hobbie Haven's Kit collection. Congratulations Tilda I never get tired of this cute image. I've colored it multiple times. The border die is also a new CC Designs Die: Tear Drop Border Die. It's been sitting in the please use me and add me to the store box for a couple of days, so I thought today I would get on it.

There are a few other stamps in there too, but I have to make kits out of them first so I can share them with you. but I did add the Daisy Chain Border Die. I'll try and use that one next time so you can see it. I didn't think to order those cute balloons, I'll order those for the store next time!

It's Thursday already. I finished up my second card for class. I love this little Tilda flying her kite. So summer.. The paper is fun too. It's some old My Minds Eye stuff I found at my LSS. See the new Magnolia DooHickey cloud? Fabulous!! Although the price wasn't that fabulous!! :O) But I had to have it. I cut TIlda out and man was that kite tail a pain. I ended up cutting some of it off. It was just to small.

New Business..

Happy Wednesday everybody! Hope your having a great day! Maybe enjoying some sun? We have that here today. I'm thinking of going out on the deck to read a book.. :O) I finished up my Copic card class for next month this morning. I used a Stampavie image called Mouse with Sunflower. I love that huge flower. I used 11 different Copics to color it with. It looks really cool.

My local scrapbook store that I teach classes at is going to be closing.. I know so SAD!! They will still have the online store though so not to bad.

I've been thinking for a while now of setting up a card kit of the month club. I know a lot of ladies really enjoy taking my coloring classes and thought this would be a great way to branch out with that. I'm in the process of setting up my online site ( I paid for it today.. Scary!) and trying to decide what I want to have in it and how to go about the whole process.

I know I'm going to have a Copic and a Water Color card for sure. I'll be making video's of me coloring the projects so you can see the process. But that's about how far I've gotten.

Tilda Gone Fishing..

Happy Monday everyone. Hope you had a fabulous weekend. We had great weather Saturday, with lots of sun shine. Not so much Sunday, but that's ok. After coloring up Edwin for class I couldn't resist getting out Tilda for next month's class. Water coloring this up was so fun. I used lots of different blues for the water and sky. I can't wait to share it with everyone in class.

I better go start my Copic class for next weekend. I have an idea, but haven't gotten started yet. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great day!!

I'm not a fisherman, but I love this cute little Edwin stamp. Isn't he adorable? There a Tilda fishing that is super cute also. I found this cute fish paper down at Memories of Time and knew I had the perfect image to color to go with it. The paper is Fancy Pants: Beach Babe. I know he's not a babe, but look how cute he turned out. There's one called Beach Bum to, but it didn't have the cute fish. Who care's if there's pink on there. His cheeks are pink right..

Since I finished this up I feel like I got something done today. I'm off to watch HEX Netflix delivered it today and hubby is out of town. He doesn't like it so I'll watch it while he's gone. So not to torcher him to much. Thanks for stopping by. Hope your having a great day!!

Big Girl Panties...

Hey everyone. Hope your having a great week. I found this super cute image over at Mo's Digital Pencil and had to have it. I even colored it up right away. This says everything about me and how I get through my day. I went through a really rough time at work and I finally decided one morning that I was going to put on my Big Girl Panties and have a great day. Because I Rock and I wasn't going to let anyone tell me or make me feel like I didn't. Especially when they didn't know what they were talking about.

We were all confused by that one, but just use paper like you would ribbon... Does that make since? I hope so. On my card I punched a pretty border out and used that as my ribbon. I love this adorable image. She's called Simple, Adorable Flower Girl.

Front & Back Stamps...

Happy Sunday everyone. Hope your having a great day. We got in some of these cute front & back stamps by Art Impressions at my local scrapbook store Memories of Time. Michelle asked if I could do up a sample. It was hard to get started but I think it turned out really cute. So I'm going to use it for my Tuesday class next week.

I love the little frog he is hiding. Too cute!!

I even used a saying on the inside. It needed some decoration too. Maybe I can find a small animal to put on this side of the fence... Just a thought.

Episode #9 Tilda with Ponytale..

Hello everyone. I was having some fun practicing coloring the opposite way I usually do it. I like to color from dark to light, but in my Copic Certification they wanted us to color from light to dark. I tend to use to much ink that way, but thought I would give it another go. I even made a video. I sped it up so it wouldn't take to many videos. The card above is the finished image.

Happy Tuesday everyone. How was your 4th of July? Did you go watch fireworks? Have a picnic? Hopefully something good. My hubby is still recovering so we stayed home a took it easy. But I got to craft so that's fabulous and I felt like crafting. So even better!!

Copic Marker Journal..

Look Londa another project... :O)

I have a bunch of pictures today. I'm doing a Copic Marker Journal class, but wanted to make me up my own fancy one. Not the cut down version I made for an example. When I bring that one home I'll la-de-da it up. But I wanted to get it posted. I'll take mine so they can see what else they can do. So on with the pictures.

I'm going to keep track of the refills I have..

I haven't done any Custom Colors yet, but I would like to.

look I colored one in for an example. I have a piece of plastic I cut an oval out of that I can mask with. It attaches in the book.

Just in case.

Happy Sunday everyone. Hope your having a great holiday weekend. We have great sunny weather. I had a lady from my local scrapbook store ask me to do a class this Thursday for her and some friends. She has a friend visiting and thought it would be fun. So I whipped this cute card up for them to do. I have used Kneeling Tilda and Bird Background from the Sweet Rainbow Collection. Aren't they adorable? The Bird Background has a lot of coloring. I mixed a few colors this time to. I think it turned out super cute. The paper is from Echo Park's Springtime Collection. I might have to go pick up some more of that. It's really cute. More coloring first though.

Tilda with Star Dress....

Hey everyone I'm having an exciting week. I had to take hubby to the hospital last night to have his appendix removed. Poor guy first his gallbladder and now this. He made it through alright and is now home resting on the couch. No honey do list for him this weekend.

I thought I would whip up a Fourth of July card. I haven't used this cute new Tilda yet. So thought why not. I don't usually make July 4th cards. Now I will have to find someone to give it too... hummmmm.

I seen this cute new image over at Sassy Cheryl's and have to have it. Plus all proceeds from the sales of Marlene's Attitude will go directly to Loves Healing Hands-Lungs 4 Life Charity. There is also a colored image available. It's a great cause so I wanted to use it right away.

Copic Marker Journal..

I know get off the sunny porch, stop reading that book and into the house and start coloring and making up kits....;O)

Happy Saturday everybody! Hope you have a fabulous weekend!! I made this Copic Marker Journal for one of my classes next month. I used a cute Stampavie image called Looking at You. The inside has places to write which markers you already have, color families, custom colors, favorite color combos & favorite skin & hair colors. I found the download for the pages over at Copic Munkie.

This is actually my second journal. I'm still working on the first one. I wanted to decorate all the dividers on the inside. Then decided that was to much to do in a workshop, so had to start over. I'll share the original when I'm done playing with it. I have 3 more dividers to color and decorate. But I think this one turned out really cute too. I don't know what I'll do with two. Maybe I'll have a candy when I'm finished using this one in class. We'll see....

I just got done reading The Peach Keeper by Sarah Addison. It's a great story. I loved all the superstitions and fog in a bottle. It's a great story about friendship and staying that way for a life time. I think I'll go check some of her other books. Giant Clothes Pins..

Hello everyone. Hope your having a great Wednesday! I found these giant clothes pins down at my local scrapbook store Memories of Time. They've been there for a while so I thought I would give them a new home.
I painted them and then sanded them down a bit. To distress them some. Then I added some left over paper & a couple of the images I colored during class from my bag book project. Then of course I had to break out the Magnolia DooHickey dies to glam them up.

Now to get hubby to hang them up and string a piece of wire in between so I can hang stuff in between them. They turned out really cute.

I just finished reading Room by Emma Donoghue. It was different and sad. It's about a girl who gets kidnapped at 19 and locked in a garden shed until she's 27. She has Jack who tells the story 2 years into the ordeal. The story is about how she made it possible for them to survive in ROOM for 5 years. Their escape and how a 5 year old learns there more outside. It was very good. I highly recommend reading it. I'm now reading The Peach Keeper by Sarah Addison. I will be done with that today so I'll tell you about it tomorrow.

As You Wish...

I've finished reading the 2nd book by Gabi Stevens: As You Wish.. It was a cute reading regarding the fairy godmother's story. I liked how whimsical the whole thing was. Who doesn't want to believe in fairy godmother's and magical stuff.. I'm now waiting for book 3.. I'm on the Room by Emma Donoghue. Nothing about fairies in this one. It's about a little boy Jack(he's 5) & his mother living in a room. They are prisoner's of some sort, but I haven't gotten that far yet.
