Presents in the Mail....

Look at these super cute cards I got in the mail today... Aren't they great this first one is a thank you from Jacqueline van der Sar for giving her an email address.. I should do that more often is I'm going to get super cute cards like this in the mail. I totally love it, it has so many great embellishments on it. Mine never turn out like this. Go check out her blog she has super great creations on there. Thank again Jacqueline I love it.

This second one is from Dottie. Isn't it super cute? I love the little stamped image and the cute saying she stamped at the bottom. It also came with a handful of mickey stamped images. Ones I was admiring on her blog that she'd made a card with. Make sure and hop over to her blog and post some love and check it out she's got some great stuff posted and she's new to blogging just this month. Two cards in one day I'm so Special!!! I love them... both... way better then getting bills in the mail.. Thanks girls they made my day!!

Late Challenge....

Here's one I did last weekend for Beate's challenge, but never got around to posting! And as I did no stamping this weekend I thought I'd put it up now.

My husband took me to the outlet mall to do some shopping. I got a bunch of new outfits for work. I've been putting it off I hate clothes shopping! I'd rather buy stamps.... But I needed some new stuff after I cleaned out my closet. 3 garage bags full are going to the goodwill. So this was the weekend I finally decided I'm never going to be a size 2 or 7 for that matter. So I'm buying some new stuff. Good by tax refund.... :) So have a great day!!

More Challenges.....

Here's my card for Ismaki #15. The window on the windmill is my thought on the sketch window. It's the best I could come up with. I also did the Saturday Workout Challenge: Distressing on the background. It turned out really cute. Even though the picture isn't that great. It's still raining here when I get home from work so picture taking isn't that great. Just to dark outside even by the window. See I told you I got some challenges done this weekend.

Weekend Stuff...

Challenges... That's what I had fun with this weekend. This one here is for Cute Card Thursday challenge #6 "It's A Man's World" and the Sweet Sugar Challenge #6 to make a card with out patterned paper. It actually wasn't to hard to go with out the patterned paper I just ran my card stock through my cuttlebug and embossed it with the circles. Then I stamped the little checklist and cut it out. My little Hamish image a got from my friend Shary. Isn't he cute? Thank Shary!

Then there is this weeks Paper Take Weekly challenge

Penelope....

Meet Penelope & Kitty Percy Fly... It's one of the stamps I picked up over at Eat Cake Graphics. I think it's really cute. I colored the image with my Prisma pencils and Gamsol and added some glitter to the propeller's then I masked her and sponged in some sky color. I know you can't see it very good in the picture. It's still not very light outside this morning so I'm taking the picture in my scrap room under the Otto light. Not the best. I also used the Artfully Ila Challenge sketch and the Paper Take Weekly Challenge. So I'm off to work... Have a great day!!

Lola....

Here's my Cute Card Thursday card. I use one of the great images Shary sent me. Lola is so cute. She's one of the stamps from Sugar Nellie that you can pick up at Funky Kits. They have a bunch of new ones coming out later this month. I also used sketch #8 from the My Paper World Challenge. Which made it pretty fast to put together. Until tomorrow....

First ATC...

Ok here it is my first ATC for the Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge. I'm not to sure about these they are very small. You definitely need small embellishments. Tilda takes up all the space. After I got her on there I was like ok I'll add some flowers and some brads/bling... These flowers I picked will never fit on here ever! Ok I will search around for something to put on it. So luckily I found those little sparkle flowers and some tiny gems for her hair. Otherwise my stuff is way to big!!

Ismaki #14

Here's my try at the Ismaki Challenge. I used my new Sweet Kids stamp I got at Clear Art Stamps. I'm running be hide because I see they put up a new challenge this morning. Oh well...Maybe I should get started on that one now. Maybe it'll cheer me up some, I'm having a dark day and I don't know why hopefully I'll snap out of it soon. I also tried my hand at the Tilda & Friends ATC challenge that I'll post tomorrow. For this one I also used Basic Grey paper and a lot of embellishments. I could use this one for the Cute Card Thursday challenge too I guess. Those lady bugs do have wings. But I have another one started for that. I'm at least one Birthday card ahead for next month. Until later...

Blog Candy...

Hey everybody... I was sick Wednesday and Thursday. Then my youngest, Emily had day surgery Friday.(Yes she doing fine) So I haven't had a chance to stop in. So today while checking blogs I see that Katharina is giving away some blog candy. A super cute Hanglar & Stanglar stamp and a bunch of images. So head over there and check it out. I really wish I could find a way to buy these cute little stamps!! I need a pen pal/stamping friend in Norway or Sweden willing to buy and ship them to me.... :( Maybe someday.... :)

Swap Images...

Today I used some swap images I got from Shary one of my new friends from Tilda & Friends.

Thanks a bunch Shary these came in handy for the Sweet Sugar Challenge as I didn't have any Sugar Nellie stamps as yet and wanted to do the challenge. I'm also going to use little Hamish there for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge as I don't own any boy stamps... I have a million and one stamps and nothing with Planes, Trains and Automobiles on it or something cute riding something. Who knew I guess I'll have to work on that. So Hamish with the toy tractor will have to do. I also used Beate's sketch #42 for these. I'm going to have to order that little dog stamp the next time I order from Funky Kits he's really cute. The paper is DCWV Nana's Nursery stack. I colored both images with my Prisma Pencils and used some chalk under both boys for a shadow. I broke out my Spellbinders Nestabilities. I love those dies they are awesome. I ordered the new Mega rectangles and tag sets that just came out. Can't wait for those to get here. :)

I Love the Mail Man...

Look what he brought me today... My new Sugar Nellie's and Magnolia stamps. I Love him!!! I can't believe how fast they got here. I ordered them on the 31st from Funky Kits in the UK and they are here already. Unlike the ribbon that is taking 26 days to get here from the time I placed the order. I will definitely be ordering from Funky Kits again. Now to put them on E-Z mount so I can play with them.... :)

How About Redish-Orange....

Here's Hanna... This is such a cute stamp. And great for coloring or paper piecing. I wasn't to sure about the redish-orange color when I started but I think it turned out cute in the end.
