Spring Bringer

Happy Friday everyone. Hope you had a wonderful week. Glad the weekend is here. I'm ready to go play at Memories of Time tomorrow. It's fun to get out and have some fun. Today I have an image from Wee Stamps called Spring Bringer. I hope she brings me some sun shine. I'm ready for a bunch.

The paper is Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden. Very soft and pretty. I had to grab the 12 x 12 paper and a couple 6 x 6 pads. I couldn't resist. I've had a lot of fun coloring these cute images. I think they are adorable. I'll be back with some more I found over at Spesch Designer Stamps. Hope your having a wonderful. Thanks for stopping by.

Spring Wishes

Check out this fabulous card I whipped up for an impromptu class on Saturday. My friend Carole picked the paper. Little Yellow Bicycle: Zinna. I never would have picked this out, but I think it looks great. Also love that it's double sided. It feels very like Spring to me.

The cute image is from Magnolia: Tilda with Hawaii Flower. I hadn't inked her up yet, so thought now was as good a time as any. I even dug out my Tim Holtz film strip die I've never used. I hate it when I do that. I love all the new stuff but barely have played with all the new stuff at home. I need to work on that. But I can't help it that every thing is so wonderful. I was at Memories of Time today picking up some Hero Arts stamps because I was watching a bunch of there videos on YouTube. Fabulous cards. Well of course I wanted to try some of those new ideas out, but didn't have the fabulous stamps they shared so off to the store I went. Bad, Bad, Bad... So today I'll be actually getting them out of the bag to see what kind of a mess I can make with ranger inks and a water sprayer.. :O) Check back on that.

Hope your all having a fabulous day. Thanks for stopping by!!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #61...

Hey everyone. It's time for a new challenge over at the Sassy Cheryl Challenge Blog. Congrats to last weeks winner Mary. Hope you picked an awesome new digi to play with. Thanks everybody who joined us last week. Wasn't that sketch great. This weeks challenge is "THE GREAT OUTDOORS". So i went in search of this cute image The Nature Nap Girl image. I hadn't used it yet so want to play with it this week. There is also a boy image.

I have added a bunch of MFT Die-Namic Flower Trio flowers. Love that die. Along with some Martha Stewart Hydrangea flowers. The paper is Pink Paislee: Butterfly Garden. Really pretty! I also put all my Copics I used in a cup this time and took a picture before I put them away. See there hope for me. The one at the bottom with the shiny spot is W5. The flash got it. I try and hold it at a different angle next time. I had my hand in the light tent trying to hold it side ways so I could take the picture and there's not much room in there.

Hope your all having a fabulous day and you'll find time to join us this week. Thanks for stopping by!!

Suzi with Bunny

Happy Monday everyone. We have pouring rain today.. I was hoping for some more SUN, but I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer. The rain is definitely not helping my bad mood. I lost my job a month and a half ago and it's been ruff, but manageable (I'm a workaholic). But the last couple of days have been terrible. It's like wow I'm unemployed I've colored a million and two images, finished next months classes, what am I going to do now. I know this too will pass, but some sunny weather would be nice. I could play outside. Ok enough whining on to the card.

This cute image is a new release from Wee Stamps. Totally adorable. Her name is Suzi with Bunny. Isn't she too cute. I have used Bo Bunny Vicki B Collection. I love Bo Bunny paper. Who am I kidding I love paper. The flowers are MFT: Flower & Leaf Trio and the small ones are a Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch. I discovered it in my pile and now totally love it. Just gives the flowers and extra little wow.

I took a better picture this time.. :o)

Happy Saturday everybody. Hope you have a fabulous weekend. Happy Easter also in case I don't get back to post something for tomorrow. Depends on how class goes today and if I have time to whip something up tonight.

After finishing up my class kits for next month I had some left over paper and thought I better use it up while I have it out. I still even had this cute stamp out on the counter so decided to water color her this time.

I broke out some edge punches to play with. I have a whole bunch and need to use them more not just collect them.. LOL.. I have colored Tilda with Ranger Distressing Inks: Tattered Rose, Tea Dye, Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, Walnut Stain, Tumbled Glass, Bundled Sage, Broken China, Scattered Straw & Worn Lipstick. One of the things I love about water coloring is I don't have to write the colors down I can just look at the card and remember. As long as it's not 2 weeks later.

Have a fabulous day. Thanks for stopping by.

Tilda with Big Ribbon

Happy Friday everyone. Glad it's almost the weekend? I'm ready for Saturday that's for sure. I get to spend tomorrow at Memories of Time teaching a water coloring class. It's really fun. I finally finished all my classes for next month. This will be my water coloring class. I've got a lot of stuff on here. But I think it turned out really cute.

The magnolia image is called Tilda with Big Ribbon. Kind of a silly name I think. But she's still cute. I hadn't inked her up yet and thought I better get her out of the folder for some play time. Now to finish packing up the kits. I only have a few more fence and grass pieces to cut out then they are ready and I can move on to coloring my new Wee Stamps digital images I got a few days ago. I printed them right away and then got distracted by class stuff. I like to be ready and prepared. I don't do very well having to come up with something the day before. I can do it but I never think it's the best.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope your having a GREAT day!

Rubber Boots..

Happy Thursday everybody. Hope your having a great week. I had a lady ask if I would do some altered stuff at an up coming class so thought I would give it a try. This is Tilda with Rubber Boots. I remember my girls having some of those. I've used a couple of Tim Holtz Alteration dies and some MFT border dies. I'm going to let the ladies pick what ever edge dies they would like to use on there cards.

I even got out the Distress Crackle Paint Clear Rock Candy to try out. Messy but fun. After I got it all put together I thought hey maybe some would like to try paper piecing theirs. I din't want to make up a whole other card so I just made up Tilda. Kind of give them an idea.

Turned out pretty cute I think. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a great day!

Hello Little Butterfly

Hello everyone. Hope your having a fabulous Wednesday. This is my second card for my Copic coloring class at Memories of Time. Another cute Magnolia image. This one is called Hello Little Butterfly.

The wonderul doily is an MFT Die-Namic: Dizzy Doily. Along with the cute Butterflies Trio. It must be out at the moment because it's not in the store, but they'll be back. The beautiful paper is the new Bo Bunny Gabriella Collection. Very pretty.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope your having a great week so far.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #60...

Hey everybody! Are you ready for a new challenge over at the Sassy Cheryl Challenge Blog? This week we have a fabulous sketch by Dawn..

Thanks everybody who joined us last week. All your cards were fabulous. This week I have used " Buttercup Suzie". Isn't she adorable? I have kept my card pretty simple this time. I did add some white dots to her dress top with my Sharpie white paint pen. Love how that made it look.

Hope you can join us this week. I love to see all the different ideas. Have a fabulous day. Thanks for stopping by!

Tilda with Straw Hat

Happy beginning of the week everyone. Hope your Monday is going well for you. I'm working on class projects for next month. I love going to hang out at Memories of Time it's super fun and gets me out of the house. I finally finished both cards for my Copic's class May 14th. This one is Tilda with Straw Hat. Isn't she cute?

I purchased some seam binding a week ago so I could try dying my own. Yep it was super messy. I'll be buying some gloves for that. I got some Ranger Rusty Hinge under my finger nail and it's all stained and looks gross. I'm not the get messy/dirty kind of crafter. I like to stay neat. But the seam binding did turn out really cool. So I'll be doing it some more. Love that you can dye it to match your project.

Now I need to work on my Fun with Heather class.. I have an idea but haven't started it yet. Oh and I purchased some new digi's that I would like to color up. I better get a move on and start something. I need more time in my day. I don't know where the time goes, but there's not enough of it.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a fabulous day. See you tomorrow for the Sassy Cheryl Challenge!!

Sam's Special Delivery...

It's Friday everyone. Yippie!! Are you ready for the weekend? I am. I get to play at the scrapbook store tomorrow. What can I say I love it there. Have you seen these cute Wee Stamp images? Adorable! They are having a new release today. I can hardly wait. Sylvia has wonderfully cute images. This one is called Sam's Special Delivery. Adorable right?

The fabulous doily I cut out myself with my new MFT Die-Namic die called High Tea Party Doily. It's awesome. I also put on a bunch of flowers. I think the whole thing turned out super cute. The paper is Pink Paisley: Butterfly Garden. Love the detail on it.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope your having a wonderful day!

Old Friends...

Hi everyone. We are having a special CHA play day at my local scrapbook store Memories of Time on Saturday. We will get to play with some new stuff from CHA. This is the make and take I came up with. I used a new Crafter's Companion stamp called Old Friend. It even comes with the saying. The inside says To Grow An Old Friend. The little girl was watering three flowers but it wouldn't fit on my card front so I cut the biggest flower off before I stamped it. I also used 8 of the 12 new Copic marker colors.

It turned out pretty cute for being a 4.25 x 5.5 sized card. I usually make my cards 6 x 6 so I can fit more stuff on them, but this is suppose to be quick and pretty easy.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope your having a great day..

Happy Hump Day everybody. Hope your all enjoying the week so far. Look at this awesome image I found over at Mo's Digital Pencil. Her Name is Veronica. Isn't she great? So sassy.

I have used a paper pad by Prima called Botanical. The cool doily is from MFT called Dizzy Doily. I have colored her with Copic's and added a bunch of Star Dust Stickles to sparkle some stuff up. I was going to add some flowers but thought the doily gave it enough pizazz. You know what I love most about her... She's not a size 5.. and I love her hair do. So flirty and fun.

We have rain again today. When is it ever going to stop? I ready for sun shine and warmth. It wasn't raining yesterday so I did have a chance to wash my car it had algae growing on it in all the cracks. Yuck and it's not like I never wash it. I love my car to be clean and smell nice at all times. It's just so wet... Oh well sun must be on the horizon some day soon...

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a fun day!

This week I have chosen "A Simple Gift of a Flower". Isn't she too cute? I used a new paper pack by Prima called Sparkling Spring. And my all time favorite flower die from MFT Flower & Leaf Trio(for the moment). I have colored her with Copic's.

Roses Bike Ride...

Happy Sunday everybody. Hope your having a fabulous weekend so far. I know I am. I've gotten some coloring done. I still need to work on next months classes, but I haven't even started yet. I'm a slacker what can I say. This is another cute Wee Stamps image called Roses Bike Ride. I think she's adorable. I might have to go down load a couple more.

The flower is a new Spellbinders die called Rose Creations. Wow it's wonderful. You can cut all the pieces out at once. Love that. After I put it together I sprayed the heck out of it with Glimmer Mist. It is pretty big though so I only put one on the card. I actually left the biggest petal off. I still wanted to be able to see the flowers on the paper in the corner.

Hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by.

Bad Hair Day..

Happy Saturday everyone. Hope your all having a fabulous weekend. I'm enjoying that it's not raining for a change. Simply Sassy is having a Guest DT Call and I thought I would give it a go. I love there cute images.
The image I have used here is called "Bad Hair Day". Isn't she adorable with her little rabbit friend?

I have used a new paper pack by Prima called Sparkling Spring. Has some gorgeous papers. Along with my new favorite dies from MFT Flower Trio & Leaf Trio and Upsy Daisy. I have a couple of each die so I can cut out a bunch of flowers & leaves at once. Love that. I ordered some of the new release and I'm waiting patiently for them to arrive. I thought maybe today, but no such luck so probably Monday.

I better go work on a few more project or go outside and enjoy the sun a bit. Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend!!

Toby is Two...

Happy Thursday everyone. Hope your all having a great week. Today I have Toby is Two for you. He is one of the cute stamps by Mo Manning. My local scrapbook store Memories of Time has decided to carry Stamping Bella images (they haven't arrived yet but keep a look out). And since I already had him as a digi and  thought I would color him up. I actually printed him on my laser printer and water colored him. Turned out fabulous I think. No bleeding or anything. The cute saying I found over at Elegant Word Art. Love Bethany's stuff.

I distressed the edges of the paper with my Zutter Distresser. Cool tool. Makes the job super quick. No flowers for this cute boy card. Although I wanted to put some on, but just couldn't make it work. So I settled for the Magnolia Swirl instead.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a wonderful day.

If you'd like you can try the guessing game Cheryl has going on her blog. You get to pick which image from 5 you this was the #1 seller. I picked #3 I thought it was cute, but I'll have to wait and see which one is the winner this week.

Taking a Nap...

My husband just came sneaking up stairs and told me to grab my camera and be quite.. This is what we found..

This is my oldest daughter Ashley and Adikia having a nap in the chair by the front window. I guess it was a hard day at the gas station. A sleep before 8... They look so peaceful when they're sleeping even at 24...

Hi everyone. Hope your all having a fabulous day. I have another Stampavie image to share today. This one is called Snuggles by Penny Johnson. Isn't she adorable? Hugging her little kitty. Too cute!! I doubt my cat would allow any kind of snuggling at all. If I was lucky maybe for a second. But nothing like this.

I finally had a chance to break out my Vagabond and play with it. Wow that thing is awesome. Just push the button and go. It took me longer to punch out the Nellie Snellen flowers then use that thing. Although I love the flowers. I love the embossing you can do with those. I sprayed them with Tattered Angels Marshmallow Spray. I'm off to make dinner, I forgot lunch today. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! Thanks for stopping by.
