It's My Birthday!!!!

Happy Halloween everybody!!!

This is my favorite day of the year...

It's my Birthday!!!

So yes I love Black Cats, Friday the 13th, Broken Mirrors, Opening the Umbrella in the House, Ect... Today I'll be at the nail salon having new nails put on and a spa pedicure. Then after that my husband and I will be going to do something. I know we'll at least be going out to dinner and maybe a movie.

These are a couple of the cards I made to give to my coworkers. I forgot to take pictures of the other two. I did 8 cards in all. Two of each one. They will also be getting a Frankenstein bag I made with some candy in it. Those are really cute also. I'm sure you've seen them around during your blog hopping.
I love these little Hanglar Halloween images. I'm sad that I won't be able to use them for a bit. But have you seen the new ones.... SUPER cute can't wait to get my hands on them. I keep waiting for them to hit there site, but not yet....:(
Again

Scrapmagasinet Reader Challenge 4....

Today is Reader Challenge #4 over at the Scrapmagasinet DT Blog.

Head over and check out the DT creations.

Maybe you'd like to join in and have a chance at one of the two prizes?

This times challenge is Bright Colors and Bling-Bling. You also have to use at least one Scrapmagasinet stamp on your creation.

To me this is really bright blue paper. I couldn't get the picture to really show it or the glitter pens I used to color my image with. But you can see the snow I put under frosty and the great snowflakes I cut out. I guess that qualifies as Bling-Bling...
Hope to see your creations posted in the comment section over at the Scrapmagasinet DT Blog!!!

Christmas is Coming....

Well I've managed to do a couple of Christmas cards. I had to actually go out and buy Christmas paper. I don't usually buy that because it's not something I would use any other time. But they do have some super cute paper out there to buy.
I used three of the stamps that Lisbet sent me this month on this one. They are all available over at the Scrapmagasinet store.
I also used the sketch by Claudia over at the Friday Sketcher's blog. My image didn't fit the way they had it drawn so I turned mine so it would fit.

Ginger Bread Angel.....

I found some inspiration... How could I not with these super cute stamps from Scrapmagasinet. I love all the little accessory stamps that go with the main image. The rolling pin, cupcake & holly leaves.

I started out with just one rolling pin and then decided I needed more stuff. So at work today, during lunch I colored the other images for my card.

I found the paper in my scrap box. It's digital paper from Designer Digitals. Isn't that cool!! I had to add the piece of red ribbon on the side because the paper under neath I had to piece together. I hadn't printed it out long enough. But that's what you get out of the scrap box...
If you haven't checked out the super cute Christmas stamps available over at Scrapmagasinet yet you really should. They are really cute!!!

Lost my MoJo....

I have left my MoJo some where. I couldn't seem to get into card making for the last few days. But I forced myself to get out some paper last night and whip up this card.
I love this little snowman (Liggende Snomann) & saying (Hey There Freezy) from Scrapmagasinet.
I have colored him with my Copic markers. Those things are hard to color with. I still need a bunch more practice. Although embossing my images has helped out. I don't have to be quite so careful.

I see back here tomorrow with my Whiff of Joy Challenge card...

DT Sketch Challenge #4....

It's time for a new Sketch Challenge over at the Scrapmagasinet DT Blog. I hope you'll hop on over and take a look.
We have a new DT member. Her name is Wenche. Her creations are wonderful. Please stop by and say Hi. I'm sure she'd love it.
For this times challenge I have used Nissen i pipa. Isn't he cute? He's stuck in the chimney. Oh no does that mean I've been a bad girl this year. That's why Santa's can get in. Oh well if I waited for Santa to bring me everything I wanted I'd go crazy waiting. I'm not very patient I'd rather just buy it myself. :)
Oh and I used my new Copics to color him. I love those. They do require some practice though. So I thought I would start with this small image. I also embossed my image so I didn't have to worry about going outside the lines or bleeding. Worked awesome!! I also made up a color chart so I could see the colors at a glance. Then when I get new colors I will just add them on. I've already told my husband that's what he should be getting me for my birthday the 31st. I'll probably end up ordering what I want and he can wrap it. :) It's easier.
So I hope you'll try out my sketch over at the Scrapmagasinet DT Blog. I would love to see your creations!!!

Willow with Hot Chocolate.....

It's Autumn here where I live. It has been cold enough that I made my husband start the wood stove Friday night. It was so warm and toasty. So out comes the Autumn colors.

I found Willow here in my already colored pile and because she's wearing an orange sweater it made me think of Autumn. I then I happened to find my Basic Grey - Mellow 6 x 6 paper pad. I forgot where I put it. I found it in my coloring box. I must have been using it to pick colors from.

I also used the sketch I made up for the Scrapmagasinet DT Sketch Challenge due out tomorrow. So I got two cards out of it. I like that!!

So I hope you'll head over to the Scrapmagasinet DT Blog tomorrow and see my sketch. Maybe even try it out. I would really love to see your creation!!!

Devil....

Well here is card two. Isn't she a doll? Another one of those precious Hanglar & Stanglar stamps. With this one I didn't get too fancy. Some ribbon and swirls.
But what about those flying bats? Aren't those neat? I found those while I was searching through my cutter files. They are just perfect for my little devil card. I didn't glue them down all the way so the wings could lift up. They look like they are flying. Pretty cool!!
I didn't want to add to much stuff to this one because I really like the design on the black paper. So I didn't want to end up hiding it with stuff.

Now I just have to finish coloring the other 2 images and make them up. I want to give them to the ladies at work tomorrow so they can mail them out.
I also have to do my card for the Scrapmagasinet DT Sketch Challenge on 10-14-08 (you'll want to stop by for that) and my DT card for the next Whiff of Joy challenge. I guess I'll be busy this weekend.
I actually try and do all my cards on the weekend and get them preposted to my blog so I don't have to stress about it. That doesn't always happen but I try. I don't like getting up and 5am and hurrying to post something before I have to go to work. It's way easier to prepost and then they just show up as if by magic. Well I'm off to bed so I can get up bright and early for work and try and be cheerful....When I'd rather be at home coloring or making cards. :)

Dracula with Garlic......

I was showing the ladies at work my last Halloween card and they decided they needed to have some Halloween cards too.

This is the first of the two I have finished. I have used one of my precious Hanglar & Stanglar stamps Dracula with Garlic. Isn't he cute? Even if he is Dracula!!

On this one I have made a few of the elements with digital brushes. Like the round circles. The outside words are a brush and the inside picture is a ding bat. Pretty cool!! Then there is the spider web on the image and tag. That is also a digital brush. Digital brushes are so awesome!!

I also used my Craft Robo cutter to cut out the swirls. Also reusable and resizeable. I love that. The hardest part is finding the one you want to use. Until next time I hope your having a great day!

Traveler Edwin....

Last Magnolia-licious card. This is Traveler Edwin. I love his little cap and those suitcases. Way too precious!
As you can see I got some new Basic Grey paper this week. I love those little 6x6 paper pads. They are perfect to just cut up. I get the bigger paper and it's hard for me to chop into that fabulous design, but the smaller ones I don't have a problem with.

Ok I'm hoping to make up some cards using my new Christmas Scrapmagasinet stamps next to share. Lisbet has come up with some wonderful designs that are going to be so cute. If you haven't seen them yet hop over to the store and check them out.

It's time to rain cards again on my
Magnolia-licious group. I have to rain a card on three ladies this month. Only 3 because I'm number 4. How lucky is that? I get rained on the month of my birthday. Super cool!!! I can hardly wait to get home and check my mail box every day.

I love these new flowers I picked up on my road trip. They are too cool. After I got done coloring Tilda I decided she was very orange, but then I received my new Basic Grey paper in the mail and look how great it matches. Basic Grey has wonderful paper.
