My Project Life Week 4...

The picture of me was an assignment for my Move More Eat Well class I'm taking.
It turned out pretty good.
I hate pictures of myself!

My word this week for class was Confidence.
I need more of that.

Lesson 2 for my Krafting with Karla Dudley class.
Learned a bunch of new things this time around.
I got frustrated once and wasn't going to do it at all, but I prevailed.

Some random pictures from the week.

These two are my assignment for
week 3 of my Real Project Life class with Becky Higgins.
This was a hard week as you where so suppose to take pictures of things you and your family around the house doing stuff.
I'm the picture taker so I guess I'll have to figure out how to use the timer.

I'm pretty proud I'm keeping up so far.
On to week 5.

My Project Life Week 3...

I took my album outside and set in the drive way to take pictures this week.
It was a nice sunny day and I could get a straight down shot.
It's hard to do in the house all our windows have pane dividers.
So you always get a shadow when the light is the best.

Lots of dividers this week again.
As I'm doing a few online classes for fun and want to include those in my album.
That cute chicken is the image I colored for an online tutorial and thought she would be fun to add
instead of throwing her away.
"Don't sweat the small stuff"

Week 1 assignment for Krafting with Karla class.
It's in an 8.5 x 11 divider and on the back I did a worksheet of what I learned and details from the class.
Sorry I didn't take a picture of that.

Stuff from my Move Move Eat Well class with Cathy Zeielske.
I try and find a quote once a week to include and make up a card.
As my husband says " It's a life style change NOT a diet".

These two are my Project Real Life assignment.

Then of course some pictures of the girls.
The dessert I made one afternoon.
The book I just finished.
Make n' Take project for Saturdays crop.
And my One Little Word for this year,

Thanks for looking.

January Calendars...

I decided to make some calendar pages for the albums this week.
The top one I put in my book.
I got the flowers for mine from the
They are already together how wonderful is that!

These went in each of the girls books.

Lots of stuff in the bundle.
Took me a while to sort through it.
I can't wait to make next months.
Super cute!

Today in Detail...

I'm currently taking a class over at
Scrapaneers
by Karla Dudley called Krafting with Karla Dudley.
This was the first weeks assignment.
We learned about Shadows, Layering and Transparent Elements.
I love that I can watch it as many times as I like and STOP it.
I'm no Photoshop expert so even learning a little thing is helpful.
It turned out pretty cute I think.
I'm not crazy about the tan background, but it made the vellum piece show up better.
So I kept it instead of using a white background.
I also made the layout 8.5 x 11 so I can use a small insert page in my book.
I printed it out and stuck it in my Project Life album for this week.

Love This Moment...

Cute picture of Lexie and Natalie looking out side at the rain.
One of those rare moments where they are standing still
and don't know I'm taking their picture.

My Project Life Week 2...

Moving right a head with my Project Life album.
The first two pages include all the stuff from my
Move More Eat Well
class with Cathy Zielske.
Lots of fun stuff!

I decided to do a week in review card each week.
Makes me have to journal something everyday
in my Day One app and/or Collect app.
Someday's there is nothing to write down
if I'm home all alone all day.
The second card I'm going to try and do a card about what classes I'm taking, if I've joined a club or something, what my book club is reading, ect.
Some where to write things down I forget about.

Of course I had to include some pictures from my Sunday visit
with Lexie and Natalie.
Along with some other random sometimes silly photos.

The last two pages are this weeks Project Real Life
assignment.
Pictures of everyday things and the journaling cards to go with those.
I also made up a card with the Monday Quote from class.
Thought that would be something fun to include and a week card about my thoughts
Plus I was 1 picture short for Headlines.
I don't watch the news or read the paper.

Lots of pages....
But I'm doing my own things so it doesn't bother me.
It's suppose to be fun not a chore.

Trip to the Deer Park 2...

The rest of the pages for the Deer Park trip.
We took a couple hundred pictures.
So the rest will go on the CD in the back of the girls books.
I picked out the ones I liked the most.

That bear was SO fat.
No more ding dongs for him/her.

Here is the template I used.
I  rotated it for every other page.

Trip to the Deer Park...

I'm working on finishing up Lexie and Natalie's
2013 photo albums.
These are the last of the pictures to go in.

We took the family to the Bandon Deer Park
after Christmas.
The girls had a fabulous time.

I made a template for the title page if you would like to try it out.

My Project Life Week 1...

I sat down last night and finished up week 1.
I'm taking Cathy Zielske's online class Move More Eat Well Jumpstart.
Instead of doing a whole other album for just that I'm going to include it in my regular album.
It will make more pages, but oh well.

One of our assignments was to take a picture of our self.
I try and do this at the first of the month anyways so it wasn't stressful for me.
I have the first picture and this new picture taped on the shelf right above my computer.
So on those days when I feel I'm not getting any where.
I can SEE the change.

Of course I had to include a few photo's of the grand kids.
It wasn't a big picture week for them.
They are currently into grabbing at anything that may look like a camera or phone.
So getting a picture of them is hard.

I'm also taking Ali Edwards class One Little Word.
And again I'm just going to include that in my regular album.
My word for the year is CHANGE.

These two sheets are suppose to go into an 8.5 x 11.5 page protector.
But I made up my own sheets that I could print on an 6 x 11 sheet of card stock.
I added little strips of paper at the top and bottom so they would be 12 long.
They can now go into the 6 x 12 project life pocket pages.

Week 1 down.. 51 to go..
