Fly Away....

Here is my card for the Penny Black Saturday challenge #8 "No Pink". I love this little guy. He's so cute.

My husband and I went and watch Bad Company in concert last night. It was pretty fun. I only recognized a couple of songs, but it got us out of the house for a bit. They were playing at a local fair. So we got to wonder around checking out a bunch of stuff. I think it's really fun to go and just people watch. :) And I'm so proud I didn't have any junk food...

New Toy....

I got a new toy....

I finally got tired of trying to find the right light. I've tried the window, the extra lights, the day light lamp and I finally just had it. So I hopped on Ebay at Discountbulbs and found this cute little set up for less then $52.95 including shipping.

Let me just say I'm happy with it so far I took a picture of my card here with it. Mind you I just unloaded it out of the box and set it up on the table. And look NO shadows!!! I need to play with it a little bit but I think this is my solution to the shadow problem.

Now all I have to do is tweak it a bit in my photo editing software. So a little practice and I'll have great pictures in the winter when it's dark. :)

Now on to my card. I used the Cute Card Thursday Challenge #21 this week "In The House" and Katharine's sketch #22. Both of these are great for inspiration. Katharine is giving away some Elisabeth Bell stamps for hitting 100000 so make sure to hop over to her blog and check it out. I know I am.

Here is my second card for my Magnolia-licious group. I used another sketch by Tiets for this one too.

I picked up that little Sizzix swirl this weekend at Michael's. I think it's cute.
