Fortune Tellers.....

I thought I'd try the House Mouse & Friends Challenge this week. They have challenged you to use a sketch they have posted. It's really cute! So if you haven't been by head over and check it out.
I was playing around with PSP12 last night to edit my photos shown here. I can't believe how bright they both look and the close up of the mice. Wow!! I'm going to need to definitely play around with it more often. Maybe with a little practice I'll be able to work it right.

Hope everybody is having a great day!!

Illuminations.....

A friend at work asked me if I could make her a wedding card. Sure why not!! So I hopped into my idea folder and found this super awesome card By Leslie Miller. Thank you Leslie for putting your signature on your work. So anyways I remembered my friend Sue has this stamp set so I emailed her asking if I could borrow it. Sure you can. Thanks Sue!! Well I got it home and dug around for the paper, I knew I had some just like it some where. It's so pretty why haven't I used it before now? Silly me!
Today's the day to order the new stamps over at Whiff of Joy (link on the side bar) if you haven't already!! I know I am going to go get me a few. Elisabeth Bell has some awesome designs. I can hardly wait for them to get here.

Ruffday....

Today's card is for a friends Birthday on Thursday. She loves dogs! So I decided to use this cute StampIn Up stamp from the set Ruffday. It has some cute dog stamps in it but this one just said pick me. Plus it has the birthday hat and confetti.
I also used this weeks challenge #17 over at Friday Sketchers. They always have really great sketches.
I'm also really into Brushes here lately. They have so many out there. I like how I can make them any size I want. The one I used here is actually two. The outer circles and the saying inside. It was a circle to begin with. I just squished it into an oval in PSP. I just need to figure out some way to match the colors from my paper. Instead of just making it black. but that will take more time then I allowed for this project. Later!!!

Also here is todays sneak peek of my give away. Only a few more days left so hurry over to the Scarpmagasinet DT Blog and do either the current Reader Challenge (You can win a cool prize) or the DT Sketch Challenge #2. Post a comment with a link to your creation on either or both challenges and I'll enter you into my own drawing. It's that easy!! But hurry....

Zoom...Zoom....

This is my new toy... I went to the big city this weekend and came back with this!!! It's so fun to drive. I wish I had more places to go. And the new car smell...Oh MY!!!
My husband and I decided we were tired of paying to get our youngest daughters, piece of junk car fixed. So we bought this so she can drive my old one. She was super excited ad well. Hers is constantly on the fritz. And doesn't get very good gas mileage. I'm hoping I won't have to hear mom I need gas money....Please!! :)

Now on to my card. This is the last one I needed to make for the raining cards on my Magnolia-lious group. I can't wait until it's my month!

It worked out perfect because this weeks challenge #25 over at Cute Card Thursday is "In The Water". I already had the image colored I just need to find a sketch to use. So I wondered over to Papertake Weekly and used the challenge over there for this week, Katharina's sketch #10. How cool is that.

I think this paper from Daisy Bucket is so cute!! It's just so bright and cheerful! I'm also really liking water coloring. I just need to find some really white water color paper now. The stuff I have says it's white but it's not. It's kind of an off white. If you water color your images what do you use? Where do you get it?
Oh and don't forget about the Reader Challenge over at the Scrapmagasinet DT Blog. You still have a chance to enter that. And then you can be entered into my give away too. Here's another sneak peak at the prize I'm giving away.
