It's time for Reader Challenge #8 over at the Scrapmagasinet DT Blog. This time's challenge is to use "Ribbon or Lace" along with a Scrapmagasinet Image on your project. You have a chance to win a prize so head on over and take a look. The other DT have made some cute projects.

I choose to make this cute little bag I seen over at Katarina's blog a while back. She even has a tutorial. It's perfect for candy or maybe some ribbon or other small embellishment.

Scrapmagasinet DT Sketch Challenge 8....

It's time for the DT Sketch Challenge over at the Scrapmagasinet DT Blog. The only rule is you must use a Scrapmagasinet image as your main image.

I had fun with this one. I got out my Slice to cut the corner swirls. That thing is so easy to use. You just stick the paper on the cutting glass and let it do all the work. Fun!!
This time I have used Krilla. Isn't she cute? I just love her. I paper pieced her outfit with Basic Grey Bittersweet scraps. That made it almost too easy. Cause all I had left was to color her skin and hair. If you haven't gotten any of Lisbet super cute stamps yet you should head over to the store and check them out. Hope you'll have time to try out my sketch this week.

  • Stamps: Scrapmagasinet - Krilla
  • Paper: Basic Grey - Bittersweet, CTMH - Card Stock
  • Misc: Brads, White Pearls, Pop Dots, SU - Markers
  • Equipment: Martha Stewart - Heart Punch, Slice - Basic 3

I forgot to mention we are in need of another DT over at Scrapmagasinet. If you are interested or know someone who might be head on over and check it out!!

Everybody Art Challenge #26.....

It's time for another challenge over at Everybody Art Challenge... This weeks challenge is "Tags". I started out going to make a tag shaped card and just didn't end up there. I picked out the cute Whipper Snapper image and just went from there. This ones pretty easy. I couple pieces of pattern paper and my tag with the image attached. I also didn't like how the corners looked on my image so ended up using a cute corner punch on those to add some interest. I popped the whole tag up on the front of my card and then decided I better add some brads in the corner. Hope if you have extra time this week you'll stop by for a look at the other DT creations and maybe even join in.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar #38....

My blogging friend Michelle over at Stamps, Paper, Scissors and Donkey Smiles asked me to be this weeks Guest Designer over at A Spoon Full of Sugar. I was pretty excited!! It's so exciting to be asked to share your creations with others.

So this weeks challenge is "Doodles". Pretty cool!! I'm not really a doodler so I kind of winged it. I stamped a couple of doodle stamps on my Tilda image and then drew some hearts and squiggly lines with dots on the plain circle paper. Oh and I added the pretend dots to the scalloped piece. I know some of you do great doodles and I'm looking forward to seeing your work. So head on over and check out this weeks challenge!!

Valentines Card #5....

Last but not least... And again not the traditional colors. Don't you just love that brown background paper? It's got birds and flowers all over it. But I did throw some pink on there. I again colored this one with Copic's. I'm getting better.

Well I'm going to have to search for another sketch idea. I'm needing to refill my card box. All of the Valentine's ones I've shown you so far where for my friend at work. So they are already gone. Now I need to make up some for me... :)

See you tomorrow for the Everybody Art Challenge!!
