Kona...

Hey everyone. Hope your having a great day. I've been working on some classes for next month. I'm taking a Copic Certification Class next month. I missed the one they had last time. So I made sure to sign up this time. We are having a class after the class to practice some of the techniques we will be learning. So I came up with these two cards to play on. I friend Cami from Our Craft Lounge gave me this cute stamp set to use. It's called Hangin' Loose with Kona. Isn't he adorable? I love all the images you get in one stamp set. Very nice.

We should have a bunch of fun. I'm looking forward to class. Now to just come up with my other classes for next month.. Later this week for sure. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a great day.

New Challenge at Memories of Time...

How about a New Challenge. My local scrapbook store Memories of Time now has a blog. So why not have a challenge. So our first challenge is a "Sketch". Something simple. You can turn the sketch any way you like as long as we can still see the main design. Cambria over at Our Craft Lounge has kindly offer to sponsor our first challenge with a PRIZE. Memories of Time...

Check out the cute cards I made from the gift my friend Michelle brought me while in the hospital. I finally had some time to play with them. Michelle owns our local scrapbook store Memories of Time. Love going there!! I'll be teaching my first class there later this month.

The stamp set I've used is called Pat the Dog from Our Craft Lounge. These stamp sets are so awesome. I love all the stamps you get in each set. This set has 2 main images, 6 accessory images & 6 saying. That's a bunch. You culd make a bunch of different cards.
 

I really didn't use that many supplies to make both of these. 1 piece of Green and Brown Brazzill card stock, 1 piece of Moxie: Life's a Garden - Beauty in Flight pattern paper and some brads. I used a piece of scrap white card stock to stamp my saying on. Oh and of course my images are stamped on Gina K Designs pure luxury card stock (love that stuff). I still have enough paper left to make another card.

The pattern paper is double sided!! Love that.. No looking around to papers to match just flip it over. Bugs on one side stripes on the other. COOL!! I'm off to play some more. Maybe I'll use up the rest of the paper for another example to show you..

Fairy Dust is a Must.....

Thought I'd share a quick card I did up using a stamp set from Our Craft Lounge called "Fairy Dust is a Must". Super cute stamp set! Has two cute fairies and a bunch of accessory stamps.I picked this set up at my local scrapbook store Memories of Time. I'm helping Michelle get a blog set up for Memories of Time. I should be able to share that with you soon...



I'm off to color the rest of this weeks DT cards. I'm running a bit behind!!

Everybody Art Challenge #72...

It's time for a new challenge over at Everybody Art Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is to use "Your Favorite Colors". So today my favorite colors are Red & Yellow, but for me that can change daily. Depending on how my card looks. Go check out the other awesome DT creations. They are great!!

The cute stamp is by Our Craft Lounge: "Fairy Dust is a Must". Isn't it cute? It's a clear stamp set and comes with 13 stamps (2 Fairies, 6 Accessories & 5 Sayings) that's a lot. I picked it up a while back at my local scrap store Memories of Time. Michelle has a bunch of rockin stuff there. The image actually started out as a class sample I was thinking of making. (Yep Sue she talked me into it 1-23-10 @ 12:00 you better go sign up. More on that later) Who knows maybe it still will be... We'll see how the first 2 classes go first.. :o)

Everybody Art Challenge #59...

The challenge over at the Everybody Art Challenge Blog this week is "Little Gifts". Well the last class I took at my local scrapbook store was this. Perfect right! A little gift basket and a card. I love it when I find something I haven't shared and I just need to take a picture of it for a challenge. :) But you have to go see the other DT creations they are Super!!

Card Class....

I decided to sign up for a card class at my local scrapbook store a couple of Fridays ago. Just so I could leave the house... I had a great time, it was so fun!! It was taught by my friend Cambria and Kisa. This top one we got to play with the Copic air compressor... Very fun!! As you can see I'm not an expert.. Thank you Cambria!!

This one Kisa taught us how to do that super awesome sunset. Using a sponge and scallop oval punch out. I'm going to use that trick again!! Thank you Kisa!! It was a great night away from the house and I got to take the stamp set home. You can't beat that. I had so much fun I signed up for June's class... :)
