Purple...

It's definitely Purple... I'm not to sure of the paper I picked. I have a ton of paper and couldn't seem to find the right one for this. So I finally just grabbed two sheets to match her dress and one to match her bag. You can find this stamp over at Scrapmagasinet. It comes on a sheet with a bunch of others or by itself. And don't forget the Reader Challenge #3 going on over at the Scrapmagasinet DT Blog. You have a chance to win a prize of your choice. All you have to do is make something other then a card using a Scrapmagasinet stamp.
This is me shopping this weekend. My husband took me for a drive up the coast to a little scrapbook/stamp store on Saturday. I love going in a browsing. They have such different stuff. This one had a wall of stamps, a bunch of glitter, embossing powders and flowers. Who knew I needed more of those.

Little Prisma flowers they are so pretty. I also came away with a couple of new stamps. One has snowman couple and the other one is a butterfly with multiple layers you can emboss and cute apart. I'll definitely be going back there again.

I have also used this weeks sketch #21 over at Friday Sketchers by Mumur. The DT have made some really cool cards so go check them out.

Teddy Two....

Sorry I've been absent the last couple of days. A friend at work asked me to make her some baby shower invitations. The first 8 for her friend at church were easy. I did the cute onsie ones you see all over the place (I forgot to take a picture before I gave them to her). The other 22 are for her niece so I wanted them to be special.
Well I found this cute Ladybug & Friends stamp Teddy Two in my stash and thought it would be perfect. Then I decided I would just stamp it on watercolor paper and color it in. So I printed all the invites out and stamped all my images and started painting.... I hated the paper!! It sucked!!! So I went and got different watercolor paper and started all over. Reprinted and re-stamped. I managed to color 15 bears last night. I'm hoping today I'll be able to finish them up. I'm even taking them to work to work on at lunch. So we'll see. They are really cute though!!!

  • Stamps: Ladybug & Friends- Teddy Two
  • Paper: 140lb Watercolor Paper

Rakle.....

Here's my second card using the sketch from A Spoon Full of Sugar. It really is a great sketch.
I got some new buttons the other day and just couldn't resist using some. As you can tell. I even thought a little bit of string tied on would make them look even cuter. But then how about as the center of some flowers.
I have been punch flowers out of all my small scrap paper so I have this little envelope full now. Who knew it would grow so fast. Maybe I'll have to send some out in a few cards. So don't be surprised if you get a card with a bunch of flowers inside.

Rakle Bohem.....

We are having our 3rd Sketch Challenge over at the Scrapmagasinet DT Blog. Hop on over and check it out. The DT have made some wonderful cards. This is the one I made of course.

I found this great paper to match my coloring in my stash. Usually I pick out my paper first and then color to match, but I just wanted to color some stuff up the other night while I watched TV so I had to do it backwards this time. I must say it's not my favorite way of doing it. I have a lot of paper but it's hard for me to find the perfect thing after I've colored my image. So needless to say I don't like doing it that way. But it turned out pretty good.

I used another of my wonderful Rakle stamps Rakle Bohem. I love these they are all so cute. I received my DT stamps in the mail on Saturday wait until you see Krilla Rocks. She's awesome!!! They are all awesome, she's just me favorite. So I hope you join us in the challenge I would love to see you over there.
