Tilda with Amaryllis....

Happy New Year everybody.. Be safe.. Hubby and I are going to stay home and watch TV. Probably be in bed way before midnight. Those days are over for us. 10 o'clock seem very late to me now. But I don't mind.

This is another card we'll be doing at my class on the 8th. Isn't she cute? I've used some old My Minds Eye paper. Love their stuff. The whole thing is pretty simple, but they can't all be complicated.. The last one was a doozie...

I tried out my new Flip recorder the other day. I need a little more practice. It ended up being upside down. So we went to town to buy a stand on the floor tripod. We'll see how that works out. I wasn't too crazy about the Flip recorder, but I'm willing to give it another couple shots. I should have bought one I could turn the screen around on. But hey live and learn.

My Grand Calibur has made it to Spellbinder's and is on it's way back from repair. Poor thing. I promise to be nicer to it from now on...

I'm also redoing my blog. As you can probably tell. I changed the name a few days ago. To go with my business name I had to pick out for my classes at Memoreies of Time. Erased the back ground and took a bunch of stuff off the side bars. I'm trying to make it look a lot cleaner. Laura over at Creation Faeries is going to give me a makeover. Thanks Laura!! I really liked what she did with Annika blog Another Messy Crafter. Looks Fabulous. And I've been wanting those clickable tabs at the top forever but could never figure out how to do it myself. So Laura to the rescue!! I can't wait to see the end results. It'll be all new and fabulous to start the new year. So bare with me while I get it back up and pretty again.. :o)

Hope your all having a great day!! See you in the new year..

Grand Calibur....Never, Never....

Ok for those of you who own the Spellbinder's Grand Calibur... This cutie below.

NEVER.... NEVER use this in there...

See where it says for use with the Wizard Embossing & Die Cutting System. Yea it pays to read the thing before you try and run it through your new toy... I didn't think it would make that much of a difference, but it did. It didn't work out. My poor Grand Calibur that I've only used twice is on it's way back to Spellbinder to be fixed.

I really wanted to use it too cut out all the hearts pieces in the card below for my up coming class. I guess I will have to use double sided tape next time. I ended up cutting them all out with my Sizzix Big Shot Pro. Which I had to put 16 pieces of chip board in to make it tall enough. What a pain!! Oh well they are all finished.

The card did turn out pretty though. That cute Tilda with Violin is from the 2010 Merry Christmas Collection. The paper is the new Bo Bunny Valentine Collection. Really pretty. Both pieces are from the same paper. I love it when it's double sided!

Hope your having a fabulous day!! Thanks for stopping by..

Tilda in Windy Weather....

Hey Everyone.. Did you get every thing you wanted for Christmas this year? My hubby bought me a new Tim Holtz Vagabond. Michelle at my local scrapbook store Memories of Time ordered it for him and it should be here soon. How fun! I got myself one of those Flip Video things. Thought I'd try out doing some tutorials. That should be fun! We'll see how it goes.. :)

This is the card I made for my water coloring class later this month. Love this cute Tilda. She's called Tilda in Windy Weather. She's from the Magnolia Cozy Autumn Collection. The Leaves are a Martha Stewart Maple Leaf Punch. A few are a Magnolia stamp I found and cut them out. The whole thing turned out really cute. But when I got ready to make up the class kits I was like why did I have to use that many leaves??? Crazy me! It'll be really fun to make in class though. Maybe I should try doing a tutorial on this one... We'll see..

I better go finish cutting out Copic class kits.. There are a bunch of parts in those... :) Thanks for stopping by. Hope your having a great Sunday!!

Circus Tilda & Circus Horse....

I love how this card turned out.. It look's so pretty.. I even sprayed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Spray. It really shines. I didn't feel like masking so I stamped my horse and Tilda separate then cut her out and popped her up. I have water colored them both with Ranger Distressing inks. The brown corners are a Cuttlebug die and the red corners are the Spellbinders Fluer De Lis die a cut into fourth's.

I made this for my best buddy Sue's Birthday this Saturday. I can't imagine having a Christmas birthday. Do you get more presents as a child... I sure hope so. Any ways I haven't heard her mention reading my blog lately, but if she read's it before Friday then I guess she'll act surprised when she gets it. I couldn't wait to share it..

Hope your all done shopping by now.. I would hate to have to go to the store right about now.. What a mad house. Have a wonderful day! See you again soon..

Whoops 1 One More...

Happy Wednesday everybody.. I found one more in the folder I forgot to post. It's really pretty so I had to get it posted. I've been watching the Magnolia windows and I think I got this one from window 8 or maybe 9 I can't remember right at this moment. I really loved the dies she used. They came from Cheery Lynn Designs. So of course I had to get some too. I love this little Tilda with Fir. I know she's carry a tree but who says you couldn't just make a winter card out of her. I'll be using her again I'm sure.

Hope your all having a fabulous day!! Thanks for stopping by..

Few More Days...

Wow there is only a few more days until Christmas. Time sure does fly by. I'm ready to move on to new images and put the Christmas stuff away. How about you? I have a couple more Christmas cards to share that I made up and already sold. But thought I better get them posted this week... This is Star Tilda. One of my left over class sample colorings.. I really love that Bo Bunny background paper and didn't want to hide it too much. It really is pretty. The huge snowflake is the 2010 Spellbinders Snowflake Pendant. LOVE IT!!

I share the last one tomorrow. Then It's on to something else. Maybe I'll get some Lily of the Valley inked up finally. Before the new release. I've seen a bunch of those and wow I'll be adding them to my shopping basket. Hope you had a great day. Thanks for stopping by..

A Pile of Penguins Card ...

I'm back with another Pile of Penguins card for you today. We did this one at my Christmas card class last Saturday. It was totally fun. Love all those Stampavie images. They are all so adorable! The girls had a hard time with all the grays on this one. I think it was mostly the little spaces to color in. I promised them with a little practice they would be great. Although I did color the scarf on the bottom penguins head gray during class. I had to stop and stamp me a new image to color. Coloring upside down is sometimes difficult.

I'm off to work. I have to make up an instruction sheet this morning on how to make out the deposit. Since I'll be gone Monday & Tuesday they would like someone else to be able to do it.. Works for me. So have a fabulous day!! See you again soon..

Well we've made it to Wednesday.. Hump Day.. It's all down hill till the weekend after today.. I can hardly wait. I have thing to do this weekend. Classes to make up, Kits to cut out, 2 Baby Quilts to whip up. Wow I'm going to be up late. Good thing I have Monday & Tuesday off... YIPPIE!!

This is my Water Coloring class this Saturday. Isn't she adorable? I love the pink on this one and I'm not a pink kind of girl. But the whole thing turned out really cute. For the tag I cut the tag out then ran it through my printer to add the cute sentiment by Elegant Word Art. Yep I'm still lovin all the snowflakes. It'll be sad to put those away, but not for a while yet.. :o)

I better get to my self to work so I can get started and get home to play. Hope your having a fabulous day. Thanks for stopping by..

It's Almost Here...

Not to many days left.. Do you have all your shopping done? Almost done? Not doing any? I'm terrible we aren't even going to put up our tree this year. Just seems like to much trouble. I'm not going to be putting any thing under it so why put it up... We got a new pellet stove for Christmas. Plus I buy what ever all year long. So I can just go out and see everyone else pretty Christmas lights and no work for me.. :o)

Magnolia's Star Tilda is turning out to be pretty popular with me and coloring. I actually used her for a class so colored her three times and didn't want to waste her. She's just so cute. I think I'll be using a few from the current collection for my classes next month also. A lot of them can be used for other occasions. I love that. I don't have to put them away yet.

I can't wait to see all the new after Christmas images that will be coming out. I've seen a couple of Lily of the Valley previews.. WOW!! Really cute. Definitely adding those to my wish list. Thanks for stopping by. Hope your having a wonderful day..

More Christmas...

Yippie it's Friday.. I can hardly wait for the weekend. But then again I say that every week. I just love this year Christmas line by Stampavie. But then I say that about all my stamps. I love them all. This image is called Cozy Christmas. Aren't they adorable? Our cat would probably cuddle with our puppy Adikia if she wasn't trying to eat head head all the time. Poor cat...

I have embossed and stamped some snowflake on my background paper to make it look like snow this time. Added a bunch of Stickles and Crafty Fluff. Those are both great inventions if I do say so myself.  I finally feel like I found my coloring Mo Jo. I missed it. It's like loosing a friend. As much as I've loved the Christmas images I can't wait for the new Valentine's stuff to start coming out. You can only do one holiday for so long until you get burned out. But there's a few more Christmas images left to color.. So I better get t it..

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me some love. Hope your having a wonderful day!! See you again soon...

Hey everyone. It's time for another challenge over at the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is to use "2 Sassy Images" on your project. You can combine two images in your photo software or maybe color two and cut them out. You choose. Just make sure you have 2.

Cheryl is giving away this fabulous snow family decoration this week along with a $5 gift certificate to the Sassy Cheryl online store. Isn't it super cute? I hate dusting or I might just go out and buy one for myself.

Oh no Rudolph lost is nose.. How will Santa get the sleigh up and going? That cute image is called Rudolph's Nose. The bag of toys is called  Christmas Toy Bag. All colored with my Copic's. I've used Basic Grey paper and some fabulous snowflakes.

Have you seen the super cute new images Cheryl has put up this week? She's so creative. I don't know how she comes up with so many new images every week. Way to go Cheryl!! Hope you can find  few minutes to join the challenge this week.

Indian Tilda

Hello everyone.. Hope your having a great day!! I've enjoyed my day off. I managed to wash my car today. Man was it dirty. I know it's just going to get dirty again, but I just couldn't take it any more. My hubby even put a new coat of RainX on the windshield. LOVE that stuff. Evidently I've picked up a windshield chip so I'll be calling to get that fixed ASAP.

No Christmas card today. I had to color this cu-tie up. She's been waiting patiently. I love all the wonderful Christmas images, but I think I'm ready for Valentine's day.. Oh well a few more Christmas coloring days. Plus I still have a bunch of Christmas images to play with... This cute Magnolia image is called Indian Tilda. I have used Basic Grey Paper and colored her with my Copic's. The border punch is from EK Success. I think it turned out too cute.

I'm off to work on my Sassy DT project for Tuesday. I'm a slacker and haven't even started it yet. So I better get a move on.. Thanks for stopping by. See you again soon...

Sugar Nellie Competition Simply Sassy Round 1....

Karen over at the Sugar Nellie Blog is holding a Simply Sassy competition with a fabulous prize. A Grand Caliber to one lucky person. How wonderful is that? I've been looking at those here lately. Those big dies look yummy...

All you have to do for a chance of winning is ink up one of your Simply Sassy images you've bought from Funky Kits and make a WOW card.... White on White that is. Your allowed to color your image but that's all. Karen wants the your image coloring and shading to be the main focus, so your Sassy image really stands out. So I thought I'd give it a go.. Here is my attempt:

I have used the image Fairy Tale. Isn't she a doll? Not only is Karen offer the winner a Grand Caliber but they will be offered a spot on the Simply Sassy DT. How awesome would that be!! There will also be other spot's available on the DT as Karen is wanting to expand the Design Team. How fun would that be!!

I will be needing your votes hopefully in the near future if I get to the final round, so please keep a look out for my plea for votes... :o) I'm a shameless begger... I can admit it..

Thank's for stopping by. I hope you found some inspiration.. See you again soon...

Snowy Hug...

I love my new Magnolia Christmas Collection. They are all so cute. I don't know if I'll have time to stamp them and color them all. Luckily a lot of them can be used other times of the year. This one doesn't have to be a Christmas card. It could just be winter fun. Her hat could be blue or purple. I see another colored image coming soon. I think the next time I color it though I'll give Mr Frosty a blue tint. I think that would look pretty.

I even used a DooHickey Die. I love those. Getting it straight was a little hard for me. I'll use a little tape next time. I can't believe all the new die companies that have come out here lately. MFT, All That Scraps, WOJ, ect. they must be really popular. I'm not complaining. I love them.

I'll be back later with my Show Me Thursday photo. There's nothing on my work desk to show it's all cleaned off. Except for the usual stuff that's always there. That wouldn't be that fun...

Hope your having  a great day. I'm going to try and get some more stuff off of my desk today. I didn't even get close to catching up yesterday and it's time to run statements.. That will have to wait until I put all the receipts for last month in first. Maybe Friday... Off to work I must go.... Thanks for stopping by!!!

Lilly of the Valley....

On no it's back to work for me today... YUCK!! I can't even imagine what my desk looks like.

Check out this cute Lily of the Valley image. I just adore these cute images. So many to choose from. This one is called Puppy Post. More fabulous snowflakes. I can't get enough of those.

Only a few more shopping days until Christmas. Have you gotten all your shopping done? Started? We aren't going to do the whole Christmas thing this year. I might get the girls a little something, but I shop for them all year long so they don't need a bunch of stuff. Plus they are 23 & 21. They're old enough to buy their own junk. Me I usually buy what ever catches my fancy so my honey doesn't need to get me anything either.

Hope your all having a fabulous day.. I'm going to work really fast today so I can get all caught up from my time off. If I don't get caught up I'm still leaving on time.. :)
