Rubber Romance....

Here's a card from the gift set I made for a friend for her Birthday. This is a pretty big stamp. I like these Rubber Romance stamps I just wish they were just outline stamps so you could paper piece the shirt. Oh well can't have everything. I got this one over at Eclectic Paperie it's call Retro Robin. And I used scraps out of the scrap paper box. I'm going to have to get some more when they get some more in. They are currently out of the couple I've been eyeing.
Off to get ready for work... :)

Trying Something New...

I thought I'd try something new. Embossing and coloring vellum.. I've been coloring these flowers for 3 days. Every morning adding another layer of color. It doesn't dry that fast, but I wasn't in any rush. I guess I could have used my heat gun on it. I'm going to need some more embossing powder now because it was pretty fun. :)

Nursery Bash....

Today is Susan's baby shower at work. This is the card I whipped up for her package last night. My daughter Emily picked out and picked up a present for me days ago, but I forgot I needed a card. I'm glad I now I have a few colored images laying around ready to use. I know this set is kind of Birthday themed, but it's cute and she's wearing a hat. The patterned paper is the DCWV baby girl nursery stack. I like there stacks and usually pick them up when they come out. They have a lot of new cute ones coming out soon ( I hope).
I got up at 4 this morning to hit the gym... For week 2. It wasn't so bad this morning I'm getting back into the routine. And it gives me quite morning time like now.
My honey has the day off today because it's Presidents Day! Lucky guy... If he would have told me I could have asked for the day off too, but NO... I forgot! I think he just wants to spend the day all by himself. He said he'd finish up our taxes... Hopefully! At least Emily's so she doesn't ask me any more if they are done. She's getting a little bit of money back so she's excited. Lucky girl! This is her first tax year...
So everybody have a great day!! Until later... :)

Another Card....

Here's another Stamp of Krilla. I love those jeans she's wearing. They so look like something my girls would wear....low riders!! I wish I had the stomach for those.
I did get up and go to the gym everyday this week!! Yippie... I even woke up before the alarm this morning
3am I finally just decided to get up at 3:30 and go work out. Why just lay there in the dark staring at nothing? So I'll be tired tonight. But it feels good.
Hopefully I'll have time for some card making this weekend. Oh I colored Krilla with my Prisma pencils. I love those! And again just grab some paper out of my stash. I've decided I need to pick out my paper first before I color so I can match it better to my coloring. Even though I found some to match this time.

I'm thinking I need to get some more ribbon I don't have very good options. But there are so many choices. How do you decide? Maybe I'll try and find a ribbon swap, that might be good then I'll get a few selections. Maybe some of you would like to swap ribbon? I'll have to look into maybe buying some in bulk and swapping out. How about that?
Well I better go get ready for work!! Yuck... Until later :)

Krilla...

Here's Krilla Shopping. Isn't she cute? I really love these Rackle stamps. They are alot bigger then I thought they'd be. I bet they would look great cut out and put on a scrapbook page. And I can admit it I like the chubby ones the best they remind me of well, me.
Lisbet is the designer of these cute wonders. Go check out her blog and say Hi. She posts all her upcoming stamps/ ideas are there. Very cute ideas she has. I wish I could be as creative.
My daughter Ashley likes to draw I should see if she'd draw some stuff we could use as stamps. There's a thought....
I colored this with my Prisma
colored pencils while I was
watching/listening to the TV. (Hubby Time) I love the brads I found at my local scrap store a few days ago. They are very sparkly. I might have to go back and get some more.
Until later.... :)

This weekend I had a chance to play with my new Copics.. I still need more practice, but I love those things! I also wanted to try Gina K's tutorial on better photo's. I worked on these in my Paint Shop Pro program and I think they turned out ok. Definately brighter.

CC Designs - Love Ya Much.
SU - Circle of Friendship.
SU Punches - 1", 1 1/4", 1 3/8".
Copic Markers - C1, C2, G40, YG63, RV11, R20, BV00, BV02, B00, B21.
Adirondack - Pitch Black.
Misc scrap paper, pop dots

Here's my close up try. Until later... Have a great day!! :)

Trees...

A card for today. Quick and pain free. I stamped the SU image from Lovely as a Tree on white card stock and kind of sponged around the base of the trees a bit. A friend needed something she could give anybody and I thought this was pretty generic.
Until later... :)

Shower Card...

This was my weekend project. The girls at work are giving a coworker a baby shower and asked me to make invitations. I originally said NO... They needed 26. To me thats a lot. But when I got home and was blog hopping I came across this cute card over on Lauren's blog. It was like a sign, so I had to make them up. So I spent all weekend mass producing 26 cards. They did turn out cute though. The little stamp I used was the only baby stamp I have and it says it's a shower. :)
