Star Tilda....

It's Monday already.. I can't believe it. I only have one more day off then it's back to the old grind. YUCK!! Oh well I need money to spend on my habit, so I'll have to return.

Here is the card for my class I'll be teaching on Saturday. I've used an assortment of new snowflake punches. I love those. I din't know I could find so many. I think my favorite is the StampIn Up Decorative Strip die I found in the Mini Catalog called Northern Frost. It has 8 different snowflakes. All wonderful.  The Magnolia is called "Star Tilda". She's from the new Merry Christmas Collection 2010. I can't believe how many cute new images there where. Talk about breaking the bank...

I'm off to watch some Medium on T.V. and think about making dinner. Maybe we'll go out or I'll head to the produce to grab a chicken salad. Left overs don't sound that great... But who know's I could just be lazy and eat pop corn. I love that idea... and ice cream.. I no I can see where this is heading a junk night I better go make dinner..

Have a fabulous day. Thanks for stopping by!!

Show Me Thursday # 3...

Happy Sunday everyone. Hope your all having a fabulous day. I took this picture a couple of days ago and forgot to post it. Sassy Cheryl is having her third Show Me day. She would like us to share what we are currently working on. It doesn't have to be a Sassy Cheryl image. One lucky person gets a free image. Maybe the one Cheryl was working on during her post. Isn't he cute? I can see him falling into my basket on Tuesday.

On my desk I have one of the kits for a class I'm teaching next month. I like to cut them all out a head of time so we can have fun coloring. These are ready to be bagged up.

Here is the finished card. The image is by Stampavie and it's called Snowy & Rudolph. Love these Christmas images. It feels like I cut out a million snowflakes so far. Every card I've made has a snowflake some place. Got to use those new Martha Stewart punches.

I was doing some Christmas wishing today... Do any of you have a Big Shot Pro?? What do you think??
My husband was like don't you already have a Big Shot.... Well yes honey but this one cuts out all the big dies and those Spellbinder Grand Caliber dies I've been looking at. He just rolled his eye's.. I can alway sell my other one... :) That's it I need to have a garage sale and clean out my stamps...

see you again soon...

Wednesday Fun....

Happy Wednesday everyone..

This is Apollo having a couple of minutes of fun in the snow yesterday at 11:30. I think that's about how long he stayed out there. It's all gone today. Good thing because I have to go to town to get dog food and other stuff.

On to the card. Features another super cute Magnolia called Christmas Party Tilda that I picked up at Stamping Scrapping. Cindy and Kevin have fabulous shipping. I had my order in less then a week & it wasn't sent priority. I was impressed. The trees are a new Tim Holtz die I picked up at my local scrapbook store Memories of Time. Aren't they wonderful. I added a bunch of stickles to make them sparkle.

Hope your having a great day. I'm off to get ready to face the day. I should probably get something out for dinner and decide if we're going out to dinner tomorrow or staying at home. Who know what we'll eat. I'm not into cooking the whole great big dinner. I'm fine with steaks and baked potato. I know how terrible, but my husband knew I hated to cook when he married me. So if he wants the great big dinner thing he'll cook it himself... :)

Hey everyone it's time for a new challenge over at the Sassy Cheryl Challenge Blog. Thanks everyone who played last week your entries were awesome. This weeks challenge is "Thankful". With Thanksgiving this week that seems like a good challenge. What are you thankful for? I'm thankful that I have a job in this tough economy. Even if some days I wish I had a different one.. :)

In addition to one winner of a $5 gift certificate to Sassy Cheryl's store for this week's challenge, here's another special prize for one lucky person in this challenge.

My image this time is called " Cliff Hanging Pumpkin Pushers". I'd be thankful for a friend who'd help me with my giant pumpkin too!! I have colored my image again this week with my Prisma Pencils. I love all my coloring stuff.

Cheryl also has a couple of different challenges going on on her personal blog. Go check those out too. You can win a free image!! Hope your having a fabulous Tuesday!! Thanks for stopping by...

Look at what I had this morning at 8am when I got up here on the Oregon Coast... It continued until about 9:30 now we have sun. So it won't last long. Adikia who has never seen snow before thought it was great. Nothing like running and sliding in it on the deck. Apollo was like hey stupid your going to freeze your paws off get in the house where there's a nice fire to snuggle by...

Color Me Challenge # 2...

Thought I'd play along with Sassy Cheryl's Color Me Challenge this week. Although I'm running late. Every Tuesday when the new releases are released over at Sassy Cherly's there are a couple of discounted images available for purchase that you can color to entered into the drawing for a free image.

I have chosen Cappuccino Anyone Snowman. Isn't he adorable? I also picked up the other image Shining Rudolph's Nose. You can beat $2. I didn't have time to also color that one. But I guess one is better then none..

The snowflakes are made from a StampIn Up Sizzix die I picked up this week. It's one of those border dies that cuts out 8 individual different snowflakes. Really cool! highly recommend getting for those snowflakes we all use at Christmas time. The cute saying is one of the new LOTV sentiments. The wonderful mailman delivered my package of those today. They are all super cute. I have them mounted and ready to be inked!!

Hope your having a fabulous day.. Thanks for stopping by..

P.S. I missed the widget by 1.5 minutes. I told you I was running late... :) Oh well there's next week..

The Weekend...

Yippie it's Saturday.. I'm off work for the next 11 days... WOW I'm love the idea so far.

Today I have a Water Color class at Memories of Time my local scrapbook store and after that I am taking the next class. A cute Snowflake album. I'll be gone most of the day having fun and playing.

Are any of you all ready for the coming black friday thing? I stopped going to those a while ago. I like to sleep in. Plus I've pretty much given up on Christmas shopping. I told my whole family a few years ago my gift to them from now on was the gift of not buying me anything. It took them a couple of years to get that I wasn't going to be bring presents, but they finally got it. I buy everything I ever want so no need to get me something I don't want or need just because your suppose to. Silly idea.

On to the card. This is the last of my Not Garbage cards. I should probably make these more often. It's another image from Stampavie called Star Gazing. It's a really cute image and super easy to color. The paper is the new Bo-Bunny Christmas line. LOVE it!! I thought I'd branch out a bit and triple mat my image this time. I seen it on someone else's blog and loved the idea. Think it looks pretty good.

I hope your all having a great day. Thanks for stopping by!!

White on White....

Happy Friday everybody!! I'm ready for the day to get started so the weekend can start. The sooner the better. Today I have another of my Not Garbage cards. This is number 2. I found the inspiration for this one over at Debby4000 blog. I love her stuff it's always so pretty. And the dimension she adds wow!!

The image is another Stampavie image called Snowy Cuddles. This image is super easy to color. I'll probably have to color it a few more times. We'll see... The snowflakes are Martha Stewart Punches along with the Icicles border punch. I love her stuff. The corner is a cuttle bug die. I've had forever. Thought I should get it out and use it a bit.

I have another Not Garbage card for you tomorrow so stay tuned. Have a fabulous day!! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Sassy Cheryl's Show Me Thursday #2...

Hey every one. Hope your all having a great day. It's time for another Show Me Thursday. I have a little bit more stuff on there this time. A few thought it was a little too neat last week. What can I say I like my stuff picked up. But I didn't get a chance too before taking this picture. I used most of that stuff on the card below. Except the embossing folder. That's from tomorrow post.

The pile of Magnolia's I picked up at Stamping Scrapping. Man do they have super fast shipping. I ordered it on the weekend and had it before the next weekend. I'm not a patient shopper. I usually want my stuff the day before. So fast shipping is really important too me. Having it for the following weekend is perfect. I'll be shopping there again. So whats on your desk??

While at class this last Saturday the girls wanted to know what I did with my finished images. Well my reply was I throw them out... GASP!! What?? Usually they don't meet up to my high standards. I am coloring upside down. But this time they all turned out great so they have made it into cards.

So first up in the NOT GARBAGE card category is:

The adorable image is called Purrfect Christmas by Stampavie. The beautiful paper is the new Bo-Bunny Christmas line. I think it turned out pretty great actually. For something I would normally throw away... :o)

See you tomorrow for card number 2..

Indian Tilda...

Hey every one I've been practicing my Copic - Prisma pencil coloring.. Dosen't she look pretty? Her name is Indian Tilda. I thought that 1 pretty piece of paper was all she needed. Oh the ribbon of course. But I think the image makes the whole card. I have again used Chrissy's wonderful tutorial. Thank you Chrissy for taking the time to make those they are really wonderful. The link will take you to part 1, there are 5 parts. I watched mine while laying in bed on my iPad. The blue shading is with the chalks. I have had the chaulks forever but haven't ever used them. I'll be getting them out more from now on.

Hope your all having a fabulous Wednesday. I'm ready for the week to be over. I have next week off form work. I'm hoping to have some crafting time. Maybe get my coloring Mo Jo back. It's still lost some where. I'm currently coloring because I have to not because I want to. I don't like that. So hopefully next weeks vacation will give me some me time to relax and play.

See you tomorrow with some more Christmas cards.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog # 37....

It's Tuesday. That means it time for a new challenge over at the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog. This weeks challenge is "Tulle or Ribbon". It was truly a challenge I couldn't remember where I put the little bit of tulle I had. It's not a regular staple for me. So I only have a little bit from some other project. While posting this I see someone else most have had a hard time finding Tulle because the challenge is now Tulle & Ribbon.. :) Love it!!

I have chosen Sassy Cheryl. Isn't she great? She looked really fun to me. Plus I got to break out some spring colors. I've been watching video's over at Chrissy's blog. (They are super). So I have colored my image with Copic's and Prisma pencils this week. Thanks Chrissy. It's a great change and I already owned the pencils. So it didn't break the bank trying something new.

Hope your having a fabulous day. Go check out the other DT creation and join the challenge.. Thanks for stopping by!! See you again soon..

Rose...

Happy Monday everyone. It's a whole new week. Hopefully it be over quickly.. :) At least the work part, not the resting after work part. I have another Stampavie image to share with you. This one is called Rose Cuddling the Winter Bunny. I had a bunny as a kid. So cuddly! I have again used Basic Grey paper.

What do you think of that big snowflake? It's one of my new Martha Stewart punches. Love it! It's pretty big. I think I'll run some white paper threw the Xyron and sticky it up and add glitter then cut out some snowflakes next time. That will make them sparkle. I seen that on another blog. Loved the idea.

Have a fabulous Monday!! Thanks for stopping by.

Fall Colors...

Hope everyone has had a restful weekend. I'm currently wishing it could be longer. But then I wish that every weekend. Thought I share a new Stampavie image called Cloe Watching the Trees in the Autumn. It's a Sarah Kay image. The paper is Basic gray. I really like the pretty fall colors.

I should be working on Christmas cards. Actually I should be working on something. I'm still don't feel like coloring. I did color a couple of images today, but didn't really get into it like I usually do. I'm just not feeling all that inspired lately. I have a week off from work coming up I'm hoping that will help get me started. Maybe a little R & R will revive me..

Thanks for stopping by. Hope your having a great day!!

Happy Monday Everyone...

Well I made it through another week. I was sick all last week with the crud. I literally slept through Wednesday & Thursday. I didn't know one could sleep that much. But it did make me feel better. I'm almost completely recovered. I've given the crud away. My hubby now has it. Poor guy. He's been laid up on the couch for three days. His crud settled into his chest and he's the coughing machine..

I managed to finish my card for my up coming water color class yesterday. I think it turned out pretty good. I really like the butterflies. I seen those on another person blog a while back and had to rush out and find the cute stamp (Autumn Leaves: Romance of Spring) so I could make some too. The image is a Magnolia image called Farewell Tilda.

I have colored her with Ranger Distressing inks: Weathered Wood, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Walnut Stain, Bundled Sage & Wild Honey. That's what I love about water coloring not to many colors great results. And I just remembered the colors I didn't have to write them down..

Hope your all having a fabulous day. Thanks for stopping by!
