KLM Designs....

Thought I pop in and share another one of my quick note cards I made with my new KLM Designs clear stamps. This one is called Sunflower Window Box it also comes with a cute saying (not the one I used). The scrap pile is getting a little smaller.... I colored this one with my water color pencils and blender pen. I love how quick that is.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog # 9....

Welcome to another challenge week over at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is "White on White, but you can color your image". How fun is that? To tell you the truth I was a little stumped at first. I mean no colored paper. What will I put on there. So I thought hey you got like a million embossing folders right, so get them out and emboss the white paper to add some character.. What do you think?

I totally love the cute image. He was a freebie on the PCP Group. ADORABLE!! If you have time this week we'd love to see what you come up with and don't forget to check out the other DT creations because they ROCK!!

Squigglefly #46....

Ok it's time for this weeks challenge over at the Squigglefly Blog. This week's challenge it "Blues & Greens". Pretty simple.. Love that. The image I have used this time is by Cheryl Alger and it's called "May". Isn't she great. I love her boots. I had some of those when I was a kid but mine where just plan red. No cool dots on mine. I haven't done anything complicated this time. I'm still trying to use up some scrap from my huge pile. Quick & simple for me today...

Hope your having a fantastic day!! Thanks for stopping by!!!

This cute stamp is from KLM Design and is called "Crocus Window Box" it also come with a saying "Thank You". Isn't is adorable? I tried a new coloring technique using my water color pencils and blender pen my friend Carole showed me. Super easy!! I think I'll stamp up some more images and make up a few gift sets.

Hope your having a fabulous Sunday... Thanks for stopping by!!

More Distressing....

I'm suppose to be teaching a distressing class next month at my local scrapbook store Memories of Time. So I've been practicing. For this one I have made my own flowers with the new Tim Holtz die and stamps. I've also made the background paper. What do you think?

It was actually pretty fun. I really like the flowers. You can make so many colors just by changing how hard you press down with your distressing tool thingy. So I didn't get it all over my self this time, but I was neat when I got done either.. :o)

WOYWW....

What's on Your Workspace Wednesday?? I've seen this a few time's while blog hopping and Deb over at Crafty Card-I Higgins was sharing hers today so I thought I'd take a picture of my space today.

Here is my work counter where I assemble my cards. Not to bad most of that stuff usually sits there. I could pick up some..... It's mostly my new distressing stuff. Evidentially Tim Holtz no longer makes those awesome storage containers(to expensive) so I have to figure out what to do with my new ink pads. I really like the little box I have the others in

Then there is my cutter... look at that pile of scraps and punches I need to put away, but you know the minute one of those flower punches gets put in the drawer I'll just be pulling it right back out..

I'd love to see you space if you participated to leave me a comment so I can go visit..

As you can see I'm not a very good sketch follower this week. I couldn't do the whole image hanging off the top of the card thing. How would it fit in an envelope? Ok I could have made the card shorter... Oh well I know you'd cards will be perfect.

Clips-n-Cuts Perpetual Blog Hop...

Check out this cool blog hop. Vicky at Clip-n-Cuts is celebrating 100 posts and decided to do this fun blog hop.

Here's how it works:
1. Click the blue frog below to add your blog.
2. Copy the following script and put it in your blog post while in Edit HTML mode.

This will make the thumbnail collection appear on your post as well and be available for your readers too.
3. Provide the above code on your blog for others to grab. Just mention to paste it on HTML view when blogging.
4. Ask your readers to add their blogs on the list and also copy and paste the script on their blog as well!

This will make a thumbnail collection that will grow on everyones blog and we can meet each other! I’ll be moderating it so no worries. It will be updated on everyones blog when someone enters a new link.

Today is my 11th Anniversary.. Wow!! And I'm going to go play at my local scrapbook store all day doing Make-N-Takes. Super fun. I'll be doing something with my honey tonight. I don't know what yet, but we'll leave the house at least..

My card for today has nothing to do with the anniversary. I just love this cute Penny Black stamp. Isn't she adorable? I have used the new Basic Grey Paper - Kioshi. I love it, it's so soft and pretty. This may be an upcoming class at my local scrapbook store I haven't decided yet. We'll see.

Hope your all having a fabulous weekend and Happy Easter if I don't make it back tomorrow.. I'm off to pack for make n takes..I'll do the card recipe later...
