I've decided to quit my full time job and go to work full time at my part time job. It's a better opportunity at my part time job. Monday was my first day as office manager at my new job. It's going to take some getting use to I've never been the manager before. Lots of new things to learn but I like to be busy. It's also fun and exciting. So hang in there I promise I'll get back into it as soon as a get my feet settled.... :)

Visual Designs by Chris Challenge...

Ok I totally forgot about Chris's challenge until the day it was due. Yesterday!! I woke up Saturday morning and was blog hoping and realized I had forgotten. No problem I already knew which file I was going to use. I'll just cut it out real quick.

So I got my piece of paper all ready and set up my Craft Robo to cut it out.... If it could only be that easy. My husband recently cleaned out my computer and he must have deleted something I needed to make my Craft Robo recognize files because It wouldn't do anything I wanted...

Ok so after messing with that forever I decided I would use my Cricut to cut it out. Heck Chris includes a bunch of different file types. It shouldn't be a problem all I have to do is install my Design Studio and register it right. (I've had it for months just haven't installed it yet) So I get it all installed and hit register online.... You don't have internet service...What? I'm online right now you stupid program. Ok so it says you can call to register... I'm sorry we are closed today!!!

As you can imagine I'm having a fit by now!! I've spent two hours and haven't done anything yet. Then I remember I have WinPC.... Yippie thats one of the files Chris included I'll use that...

2 minutes... yep thats how long it took to cut it out. That includes turning the software on and resizing..... Isn't that scroll pretty!!

Thanks Chris for the wonderful cutter files!! Your work ROCKS!!!!

Making Handmade Cards 2....

Here is the second card I have made using the Le Jardin kit from Making Handmade Cards. I love the color of this paper. It's so bright and pretty. The kit came with sheets of leaves this time. I printed them out and cut out different shades to make my flower. They made perfect flower petal. Hope you'll stop by and check out all the wonderful digital kits Claire has available.
