More Challenge Fun...

Here's another card I did using the My Paper World Challenge. And one of my beloved Tilda's. This ones Windy Tilda. I can hardly wait for the Magnolia club kit I ordered to get here. That should be lots of fun!

I again colored this one with my Prisma pencils and OMS. I haven't gotten around to playing with the few Copics I have yet... The pencils are easier to leave in a basket by the TV. Ready for use.

Tlida with Apron....

I was visiting Marlene's blog A Lil' bit of Me. Where she showed a challenge she had done for My Paper World. It's a super cute card, so hop over and take a look. Well I thought I'd try the challenge myself, so here it is. This also my Cute Card Thursday card.

I love these magnolia stamps they are so cute and great for coloring. This one is Tilda w/Apron. I first stamped Tilda and then masked her to stamp the bench and grass. I colored it with my Prisma pencils and OMS. I also decided that I needed to pick out the paper before I started to color from now on so that they matched. And it worked great. I started with the lite blue paper by Basic Grey and then picked pencils to match. I actually made up a bunch of cards today that I had colored images for all week. This week every night after work was a sit and watch TV and relax night for me. I just needed to unwind. So I got quite a few colored. Although it takes me a while to color my images it's definitely not instant for me.

Work is a Chore....

I've decided work is a chore... I have to go to work early today at another office because they are incapable of doing there own work. It's just pitiful. I've been helping them out for the last 3 months and it's just ridiculous that they haven't figured it out yet. But why should we when Heather will come over and pick up after us!!! Someone needs to be replaced.... Ok sorry I was venting there... :)

How about this card I'm really pleased with it! More flowers from SU. Hurry up Spring!!

Twenty One....

My daughter Ashley is turning 21 on Thursday... Where did the time go??? So I made her this card to go with her present. A new camera. Everybody can use a nice camera and I know she won't go buy one for herself. It's super cute and will fit in her purse. Only thing is it's orange!! I'm not crazy about orange but it had the most options that I liked. So orange it is.

I also thought this would be perfect for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge. It has a critter and he's having cake. I love cake!! This stamp is a Whipper Snapper Stamp: Cupcake Mouse.

Ok I'm off to check out my SBS3 sisters blogs. I didn't get a chance to this weekend. I don't know where the time went?? Until later :)

New Signature...

I was visiting Katie's blog Listen to This this morning and she has posted a tutorial on how to make your own signature. If you decide to try it make sure and go over and thank Katie for the help. So I tried it out. My Live Signature What do you think?? I can spend hours tring out new fonts!!

This is one of the projects I worked on here lately. It's a cute little album with pockets inside to put things in... Like stamped images maybe??
I used my Lavendar Whirlington image I got at Eat Cake Graphics. Isn't she cute? I colored her with my SU markers, paper pieced her parachute and added some stickles to her coat. The patterned paper is Cutie Pie by SU.

I'm Ready for Spring...

Flowers... I love them. They come in so many wonderful colors. And it seems I have a bunch of flower stamps. I don't know how many flower stamps you really need, but I seem to like them. I'm ready for the rain to stop and it to be sunny!!

Cute New Stamps...

Oh my gosh look at this cute stamp!! It's a new one by Tom Allen over at Cornish Heritage Farms. He just had 4 new images and sayings come out today. They are all super cute... I had to get them.. Check out the gallery too they have some great ideas. One of the cards they used crackle paint on?? I've never tried that so I picked up a jar of that also... So head on over and check them out!! Let me know if you just had to have them too..... :)

My Cute Card Thursday Card...

I have good intentions to do challenges but usually never get to them. But I did it this time. Here is my Cute Card Thursday challenge entry. I remembered it last night about 8pm. So it's nothing to fancy. I broke out my cuttlebug to emboss the white card stock with tiny bubbles and used my spellbinders circle and petite scalloped circle. The stamp is Event Full by SU and Weddings by CTMH. I wasn't to happy with the word after I stamped it because the paper has glitter on it and silly me ink doesn't stick to that. So I re-stamped it with some Stazon ink but it still looks off. Oh well I had already glued it all down so there was no getting it off to redo. (I promised myself I wasn't going to fret over it) I did a quick SU marker coloring on the pea. Not too bad for something quick before I went to bed.

On another note my dog Cupid likes to cuddle in bed with me. Well this morning when I got out he decided to cuddle with my honey. Needless to say it didn't work out that well. When I came home from the gym at 4:30 my honey was up drinking coffee. I was like wow your up early. He gave me this look and told me the Cupid story and how he decided to just get up. After he got his coffee he looked at the clock... Oh my god it's 3:30am. He was like why would anyone get up this early? Well you could have drove down to the gym and walked with me.... :) More coffee!! He'll be going to bed early tonight. I like getting up this early it gives me time at the gym, time to blog, blog hop and some quite time I don't have to feel guilty about for being in my scrap room. Well after my shower I went into our room and there was Cupid all sprawled out on honeys side of the bed.... just a sleeping away. :0) The life of a dog I'm sure he was thinking this is great I have the whole bed now.

I also managed to stamp up my swap images and make a couple more cards that I'll share later. So today it's off to the post office for me today. So have a great day!! Until later... :)

New Blog...

It's Tuesday....

Man is it Friday yet?? The week just started and I'm ready for Friday already.

I hit the gym this morning at 3:15 for my hour walk on the treadmill. I definitely think I should be loosing weight!! I gave up eating bags of chips and candy. I really love candy!! I guess it did take 21 years to put it on, I guess I'll have to be more patient. Or start jogging on the treadmill instead of walking. I'm not a very good jogger.

The designer Lisbet does a wonderful job. They are pretty big stamps as you can see here she covers the front of my card 5". They are great for coloring. Lisbet has some new ones coming out soon, I can't wait! She also has some cute houses, but I haven't decided if I'd used them enough to buy them yet.

I used my Friskars punch on the side paper for this one. I have never used it before and thought I'd try it. I think it turned out pretty cute. Other then that it's just scrap paper and some flowers I had laying around. Oh I did color it with my Prisma pencils and gamsol.

Challenge: Do you have a tool you bought awhile ago but haven't used yet? (I know you do) How about getting it out and giving it a try. Look What I Got...

I received this super cute card from my SBS3 sister Kathy. Isn't it great!! She also sent me some great stamped images and some bling... I love getting mail that's not a bill. She did an awesome job coloring Hanna. Thanks a bunch Kathy I love it!!!

Today was the first chance I've had to sit down and blog hop. Man was I busy this week. Getting up at 3:30 to go to the gym and working over time at work.. The week went by very fast. But anyways I got to see all of my SBS3 sisters blogs this morning and boy do they have great stuff on there blogs. They are all so creative!! Great job girls.

I still haven't had a chance to play with my new stamps. Hopefully this week or tonight. I did get a chance to pick up my scraproom. It was looking messy. My daughter Emily and I went shopping yesterday and I got some shelves to set my stamps on. Hubby is suppose to hang them up tomorrow. He has to get his drive from work. I also got a cell phone she needed someone to be on her plan and pay half ( her boyfriend flaked on her) so that was me... Welcome to the 21st century Heather!!! She sent it all up for me and everything. She's so helpful. I can't believe how much those things cost. I ended up getting a used one because I refused to pay $350 for a phone that will more then likely spend most of it's time unused.

Magnolia's....

Oh my gosh when I got home yesterday the mailman had delivered my Magnolia stamps I ordered. They are so cute!!! Can't wait for the weekend to play with them. But the downside is they are so stinkin cute I need some more...

I joined the stamp club already, but don't know if they are special stamps they make just for that or if they are one's they release all the time. So I'm afraid to order the super cute new ones they just released. Maybe one of you know the answer to that question. I emailed the company, but they never got back to me. :0)

I can't remember if I posted this one or not?? I need a new labeling system for my posts. But here's my Bella card. Nothing to fancy. I did use my Nestabilities, I love those! I love how easy these images are to color.

Funny Lady....

Here's another of my Art Impressions stamps. Theses ladies just crack me up. Again I colored it with my Prisma pencils and used some scrap paper. I'm thinking of making a flip book for a lady at work using a different lady stamp for each day of the week.

I really need to pick up my scrap space it looks like a disaster. oh well maybe later. I still need to stamp up some more images to trade with Maria. I got distracted by a cute album I seen on another blog and wanted to try making one. Yes I haven't finished that either.... :)

I also need a few more for the ribbon buy in, but it's getting closer. So if you know anyone who needs some ribbon send them over. Or if your in some kind of group maybe you could mention it. Thanks!!

Well better get busy doing something...
