Enjoying the long weekend...

Thought I'd stop in and share a card I did a few days ago. I have used one of the cute stamps from the Autumn Kit by Sugar Nellie. Really cute!! The paper is Basis Grey Indian Summer and I have colored my image with Prisma Pencils and Gamsol.

I have had the last four days off and have done no crafting... I just couldn't bring myself to get out anything or work on anything. How terrible is that. Now I have none of my cards for next weeks posts done. So I now I'll have to get started.. I'm hoping inspiration will come to me while I'm looking at the colored picture I pick out. Lucky for me some of my DT's are taking a break for the Holiday... :) So I'm off to create something... You'll have to wait and see the results!!

VC Stamp Challenge #27.....

Yippie it time for the sketch challenge over at the VC Stamp Challenge Blog. It's a great one too. I haven't used this cute image yet. It's called "Pretty". Isn't she cute? This time I thought I'd get out some girlie paper. It just went so well with the girlie image. Hope you can join us this week at the challenge...

Whiff of Joy # 57....

It's Whiff of Joy Challenge time.. This weeks challenge is "Christmas". Yep it's just that time of year. Everybody needs to finish up those Christmas cards. So I dug out "Herb" here and water colored him with my Ranger Distressing inks. Then I had this new Christmas paper pack I picked up at Michael's on Saturday, so of course I wanted to use some of that. I didn't turn out quiet the way I had invisioned, but it's ok....

Squigglefly #29...

Today's challenge over at the Squigglefly blog is "Round Christmas with Non-Traditional Colors".
Ok first off I just couldn't do the whole round thing... Sorry.. I did cut my image out in a circle though. That should count right? The non-traditional colors was fun though. Blue, Pink & Brown very fun. I loved coloring my new image "Pleased as Punch" in pink. Way too much fun, I was getting tired of red & green... Speaking of new have you seen all the new images available over at Squigglefly? There is a bunch. I'll be needing to a bunch more myself. All super cute!!

Sugar Nellie...

I finally had a chance to color up one of the images from my Autumn Sugar Nellie kit. All the stamps in the kit are super cute. I just don't have enough hours in my day. I have colored her with Prisma Pencils and Gamsol. Which I haven't used in a bit. So that was fun. The paper is Indian Summer by Basic Grey. Really pretty!!

I know it's not a Christmas card, but I wanted to use this cute KLM image "You've Got Mail". As a bonus I've still got a bunch of fall colored scraps in my pile. So I used some of those. Turned out pretty cute!! Do you have some one you should send mail too?

DZ Doodles...

When I seen this cutie made up by another DZ Doodles DT memeber I knew I'd have to have it. It's just so cute. His name is Wintery Bear. What I like is he doesn't have to be for Christmas. You can color him any colors you'd like, but since I'm in Christmas card making mode that's what I did. I'd love to see what you come up with.

You know what I LOVE ... Digi release day over at Victoria Case Art Designs. Victoria always has such super cute images. Look at this cutie "Friends 2". Aren't they cute? VC Stamp Challenge #26....

I thought I'd try a birthday image for this weeks challenge over at the VC Stamp Challenge Blog. This image is called " Cake n Candles". I love her flowered pants. The challenge this week is a color challenge "Navy, White & Gray". Not my normal colors but I did manage to find that one piece of gray paper. I felt really special to have it let me tell you.. Today we have a fabulous sketch for you to try over at the Everybody Art Challenge Blog. I thought it looked kind of hard but once I got started it was ok. The half circles took the longest.

How do you like that cute little mouse? That's a wonderful Scrapmagasient image. I have a bunch of these cuties colored up so thought I'd better use some. So you'll be seeing some more.

Squigglefly #28....

It's time for a new challenge over at the Squigglefly Blog.. This weeks challenge is "Thank You". Everybody can use a thank you card. So I dug through my pile of colored images and came up with this one "Three Cat Pile-Up". Cute right? They have another one that has dogs. I've been trying to clean up my scrap pile so I just grabbed a bunch of go together colors and got stared. I think it turned out pretty cute!!

DZ Doodles Reindeer.....

Check out this super cute "Reindeer 2" I found over at DZ Doodles. They have a hunch of new Christmas images to pick from. All super cute! I already decided on a couple more of these cute reindeer I'll be needing. How about you any you like to have? Can you see I'm getting into the Christmas card making mode... :)

KLM Girl Elf....

I love how easy KLM Designs make it for me to make up cards. The images are all so adorable and quick. This one is called "Girl Elf". She goes great with last weeks Package Elf image. You could print them out in the same image using your photo software. Oh another card idea... Maybe next week.

VC Stamp Challenge #25....

Today we have a super sketch for you to try over at the VC Stamp Challenge blog. For my card today I have used "Beware" as my image. Reminds me off my dog. Wouldn't hurt a fly. I have colored him with Copic markers. I love this image it's just so cute!! See you at the challenge...

Whiff of Joy # 55.....

We are having a color challenge this week over at the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog. "Orange, Brown & Ivory". I made this one up just so I could use this cute new Alison Acton image Autumn Charlotte and the cute paper I got at my LSS. Then while I was making it I found those two leaf punches. How great is that! I have so much junk sitting on my craft counter right. It's a mess!! But who has time for picking up I'd rather be coloring and making cards... :) Don't for get to stop by the challenge and check out the other DT creations.

Two for One Tuesday...

So for today's card I wanted to try out Camilla's tutorial over at the Whiff of Joy Inspirations Blog. She did an awesome job! I'm not that great at all that distressing stuff but since this weeks challenge over at the Everybody Art Challenge Blog is "Distressing" I thought it would be perfect.

Let me tell you there is a lot of work involved with making something look old! I distressed the paper, inked the edges, put embossing powder on, stitched on it (never done that before ever), glitter, craft fluff and some Shimmerz Spritz and Ta Da your done.

Here is the cool sketch I made up for the Scrapmagasinet DT Challenge this month. Maybe you'd like to give both challenges a try. Here's a close up maybe you can see the sparkles from the Shimmerz Spritz, Glitter and Craft Fluff? That Spritz is cool I'm going to be needing some more colors.

It's time for a new color challenge over at the DZ Doodles. This weeks colors are
"Blue & Light Orange". For my image this week I have used Pumpkin Time. I thought he would be perfect for those colors. Then all I had to do was dig around in my pile of scraps and find some more choices. Wasn't too hard with Halloween just getting over.
