Nutshells DT Call....

While browsing Nikki's blog Bunny-Zoe's today I discovered Nutshells is having a DT call. Nikki has made a fantastic sketch for you to follow and they have supplied this cute little girl image to use for the challenge. So I thought I'd give it a shot.

I have colored my image with Copic Markers. I think I'm getting better!! Oh before I forget Nutshells is also having a Blog Candy give away!!

I really hope my daughter comes home soon with my camera!! I really hate that I have to scan them. They look terrible!!! They look a lot better in person... :) No really!!!

Everybody Art Challenge #41....

Are you ready for this weeks challenge over at Everybody Art Challenge? This weeks challenge is "3-D". How fun is that!! I found this super cute digital image over at Dustin Pike's Blog. He has some super cute images!! I thought this one would be perfect to pop up. I really wish I had my camera back!! You can't really see it very well. But alas it will be a few more weeks... :(

Anyways I printed out my image 3 times. 2 on white and one on red card stock. I colored the white images with my Copic markers and cut out the hands and nose from one of the images. Then I cut out the words from the red card stock. I popped all the cut out pieces on pop dots. Turned out pretty cute I think. Maybe you'de like to give this weeks challenge a try? I got home from work today and wondered up to check my email. And this is what I discovered. I've been asked to join the Squigglefly Design Team. How exciting is that!!! I can hardly believe it. They have super cute digital images. I already went and downloaded a couple of images I couldn't wait... :) Now I'm off to color...

Whiff of Joy #30.....

Well my friend Julie was having a bad day Monday so when I got up to get ready for work Tuesday I whipped this friendship card up for her before I had to go to work. How fast was that!! Lucky I had the image already colored!

I also got to try the new leaf dies I got in the mail a few days ago. I love how they pop up! I'll have to go look at some more Quickutz dies!!

Making Handmade Cards....

Check out these two super cute shopping girls!! Claire over at Making Hademade Cards has put together another super kit. This one is called Love To Shop. It has a bunch of different girls wearing different outfits and they all have different hair styles. But they are all shopping!!

For both of these cards I have only used E-Kits available at Making Handmade Cards and basic supplies. I love these E-Kits they are so fun. I think it took me longer to color the images then it did for me to print out the paper and make up both cards. :) These were fast and simple!
