Tilda with Hat....

Hey everybody just a quick post today to let you know I may be out this weekend. I'm going to try and get hubby to go do something!! It being the last big weekend for a while. So if you don't see me here I hope everybody has a great weekend!!!

If you have a Wii let me just tell you Mario Cart is super fun!!! We signed up for Gamefly and they delivered it yesterday. We spent all last night playing it. I'm thinking it's a keeper.

Also if you haven't heard yet Whiff of Joy will be releasing the new Elisabeth Bell stamps on Sept. 3rd. I can't wait. I love her stamps!!! So Head over to Katharina's Blog to learn more.

Tilda Staket.....

Today's card uses more water coloring. Not to bad! I still haven't finished up my 4th card for my Magnolia-lious group. Maybe tonight when I get home from work.

I spent last night watching movies on TV. We watched 21.... It was pretty good. I would watch it again. My niece Paige came over also last night. She is so funny. She's 2 so everything is an adventure for her. Her and my husband Mike played Wii for a bit. Well Mike played she played with the other controller. But she thought it was fun.

Rakle Sommer....

Today is our second Reader Challenge over at the Scrapmagasinet DT Blog.

This challenge is called 3-2-1.

You have to use 3 Pattern Papers, 2 Brads, Buttons, Ect. & 1 Flower. Oh and of course you have to use at least 1 Scrapmagasinet Stamp on your creation. You have until 9-6-08 to complete.

Tilda with Broom....

I decided I had better work on my "It's Raining Cards" for my Magnolia-ious group today. I did pretty good I got 3 of them finished.

This is my first attempted at water coloring... I don't think I did to bad. I would really like to get some of the awesome pencils Katharina uses to do her cards with, but I'm going to have to save up a bit more. Maybe I'll ask for them for Christmas. I used my CTHM & SU markers to color it in with and my water color brush. One of those kind you fill with water.






The coloring actually took a lot less time then with my Prisma Pencils. It seem to take me forever to color 1 image using my pencils. So this was my attempt to make it go a little faster. And it actually did I colored 4 images in the time it usually takes me to color 1. Not to bad for a first try.

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge #13 this week is a sketch. I love sketches and Cute Card Thursday Challenge #23 is "Bright Colors". I used some of the New Daisy Bucket "Perfect Harmony" paper I got from My Scrappers Corner. I love that they are only an hour away from where I live so if I order today I can have it tomorrow. How cool is that!! And they have free shipping for orders over $50. Another plus for me.

Took Husband Shopping.....

Today I planned on going to the city to buy dog food. The kind shown at the left. (that was it) Well my dear husband decided he wanted to go also....

Well we also ended up getting this..... Nintendo Wii. Let me just say, that was the most expensive dog food I have ever gotten.

So I have gotten nothing done this afternoon. We spent the rest of the day playing the 2 games we got to go with it. My husband picked out a baseball game (of Course) and I got some Sonic thing. Well let me tell you it is a bit of work my arm actually hurts a bit from playing that baseball game all afternoon.

But I have to give my husband credit he didn't totally annihilate me while playing with me. (I guess he didn't want to sleep on the couch) :)

He justified the whole thing by putting the fitness kit in the cart, so now everyday we are suppose to get on it and work out...... I let you know how that goes!!! So if you have one of these and have a favorite game you like to play I'd love to hear about it. So I'll know what to buy next time we go shopping for dog food.

Needless to say I didn't get any challenges done. So I will have to work on those tomorrow. For now I'm off to bed playing Wii all afternoon is tiring....

This is Layla. One of the 3 sexy girl stamps you can get over at Scrapmagasinet. I love them they are different from all the cutsie ones I usually buy. I like a wide range of stamps what can I say.

And then I found the perfect brush to use. DO NOT OPEN UNTIL DEC 25th. I know it's not Christmas time yet but the brush was so cute and it went perfect with my card. Maybe I'll put this one in my husband's present this year.
